Ineffective sterilize function, and filter. build quality exptremely poor. Would give 0 stars
Please take my word for it and please avoid this product and save your money and time. I have gotten replacement for a first one because the first one was defective in it's plastic build(cracks, bubbling that cracks with built-in heat function). The second one that I got also had the same problem. the build quality was even worse with plastic that melts and bubbles when you use the heat function. here are the problems with this product1. The sterilize function is totally ineffective. the UV LED(not like any UV LED I've seen) is microscopic and it sits deep under the basin with plastic seperating the LED compartment and the basin. firstly, this LED has a very weak output(like really really really weak). which means, even if it was positioned where the LED would have been effective, it wouldn't do much to "sterilize". But the actual problem is that the LED doesn't sit where it would be effective. it is so deep under the basin the already weak UV light would only shine on fraction of the basin. I am no microbiologist, however I know that in order for UV light to be effective, it needs to have according power output(which it does not) and should be in a position where the UV light can shine on the surfaces and the water itself(which it also does not).2. The build quality is shockingly terrible. I have seen plastic blotter packages that are built stronger than this. After normal use, the basin's plastic bottom started to develop this pore like holes and you can visibly see the watertank plastic bottom turn white as if you would bring plastic near fire. this would only indicate that the plastic is of very cheap quality which does not have any heat resistence.3. It is very hard to clean. There are small parts which are removable. However, the plastic structure itself makes it very hard to clean edges and the fact that the basin started having pores, it became even harder to clean.4. The filter is very troublesome. Sometimes, the filter would work okay and the mist output would be normal. however, most of the time, you will find yourself wetting your carpet trying to figure out the perfect position for the filter because the mist output is terrible.5. The mist level sensor reading is false. I figured this out through standalone humidity sensor. This unit does not represent the true air humidity level and always is higher than what it is, or lower than what it is... The humidity level of the sensor and the humidifier both showed very different number. So it can be concluded that this product is very cheaply made with cheap build quality and gimmicks that doesn't do much. And I am quite worried for people using this product who doesn't clean this on a daily basis. Because this unit also has heating function, the ineffective UV LED would cause the water to attract bacteria and mold because water, warmth, and ineffective UV LED is quite the environment for bacteria and mold to grow.Please. Avoid this product.

Solid product
It does what it's supposed to do, at a reasonable price. The smooth face and touch controls look nice and eliminate the problem of cleaning around buttons. It's not silent (and if you use the humidistat setting, it will turn the fan on periodically to sample the air), but it's quieter than my laptop. Being able to fill from the top instead of having to remove the reservoir and flip it upside down to fill makes it much more convenient and avoids dripping water onto the table. It would be nice if the temperature display could switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, but if you really care, it's easy enough to look up the conversions for common temperatures. If I have any complaint, it would be that the humidistat is not accurate when using the heated mode, but that's not an easy fix since it's the nature of humidistats that temperature changes the reading. Definitely not a deal breaker and like I said at the beginning, I'm happy with the quality and features for the price.

Decent humidifier
I bought this because I wanted the warm mist option going into winter. Haven't used that setting yet beyond quick testing. The regular cool mist seems to work well, it does run pretty quietly. I like the sleep mode, would not want the screen lit up at night. Pretty easy to clean and fill. The one thing I dislike is the beeping. When you plug it in, beep, power on, beep, mess with settings in any way, beep... it's a pretty loud beep and no option to silence it as far as I can tell. My biggest issue with the beeping is that it attracts my toddler's interest and then he wants me with the buttons etc lol

Just awful
The manual is extremely brief not covering multiple features or parts. The output is disappointing. On the third day of use, the item turned off due to low water, when I filled it and turned it back on the output increased a lot. I assumed it just needed broken in a little... It functioned the next few days with this increased output until it turned off again for low water. I filled the tank and it continued with high output. When I walked by the unit about an hour or two later the entire tank had leaked out and completely warped the bookshelf it was on and damaged multiple other items. When I inspected the unit there is a white cartridge, that appeared to be sideways - although this part and it's function isn't listed in the manual. The controls are pointless and don't seem to do anything. The "%RH" which I *assume* is room humidity since the manual doesn't mention this; has dropped the longer it has been in use.The heat setting is set to Celcius and no way to change it to Fahrenheit. The manual states the temp will raise over some time of usage. This hasn't happened and it has stayed at 37c.Overall I'm all around disappointed in this product but outright angry over the damage done due to the bookshelf from gallon+ that leaked out.Update: Customer service contacted "We'd like to address any issues or concerns you have. Your business is important to us so please contact us and we'll work to resolve your issues.Best regards,Flowmist"After sending 3 replies with no response, I had to go through Amazon customer service to arrange a return. Save yourself the headache. The capacity and design look nice but was non-stop leaking. Spend a few more bucks for a quality item.
