Inspiring us to continue the Way
This book is just fascinating. It fills in details of Essene practices, philosophy and history, before, during and after the presence of Jesus, whose ministry was possible because of the extensive system of support developed by the Essenes. The information in this book resonates with my sources as well, so it feels highly clear and truthful. If you have any connection with the Essene Pathway, I strongly recommend reading this book.

Lots of good information
I really enjoy books written from past life regressions because I believe there's a certain purity to this kind of work that you can't get through channeling, or even our written histories. As we all know, history is written from the viewpoint of the victors with all their prejudices and opinions, which gives us a version of history that's not even accurate as far as the writers would have you think.Books written from past-life regressions give us view of history from someone who was actually there, though this view is necessarily narrow because it's just one person's opinion, but what's important is that the person is again living through history, and can be asked questions about that period of their life. This book in particular, The Essenes, Children of the Light, follows the life of four people who lived during the time that Jesus walked the Earth and they tell their stories, in fact two of the men were friends at that time, and one was the Joseph of Arimathea mentioned in the Bible. According to the man regressed in this book, as Joseph, he explains that he is the older brother of Mary the mother of Jesus, and that their mother is Druid Royalty. So it would appear that Jesus was half-Jewish and half-Celtic. This would explain all the pictures of Mary and Jesus with reddish hair and green or blue eyes. But it's the little details that really bring home the validity of this book for me such as Joseph saying that he dealt in tin which he sold to the Romans, something that gave him a great deal of influence with the Romans even though Joseph himself was Jewish. Also, Joseph states that he didn't deal in silver or gold because he'd fear being robbed. That's the sort of statement you'd probably never read about in a history book.Or that Joseph fled to Britain after Jesus' execution out of fear for his life. If Joseph did have relatives in Britain, it would make sense that he'd go there on one of his ships for safety. It was also explained that the story of Mary being set to drift on a boat without oars by the Romans was a rumor started by the Essenes for Mary's safety.Mary Magdalene was mentioned as a disciple of Jesus' but being a woman, the other disciples didn't approve of her status. This goes along with the social ideas of the time, and shows why her role was downplayed by later historians. What disappointed me was that the author never asked more details about Mary Magdalene. Was she the wife of Jesus? It was mentioned that she was of the Isis cult or religion which would have bothered the other disciples a great deal. The Essenes were open to the 4 major religions of their time, while the other 2 Jewish sects were not. This would have made them either talk ill of Mary or leave her out altogether. Another detail that makes this book ring with more truth than other accounts I've read. One last detail of this book was the fact that a group from out of the West came to teach the Essenes and basically start their group along with the Druids. This traveling group was called the Kaloo. Because of their knowledge and use of crystals, they sound very much like they came from Atlantis. This was something I hadn't read before and I wish I could find more on.I'll be looking for more books by Stuart Wilson and Joanna Prentis. This book was a very compelling read.

Clear, Powerful Essene Wisdom & Mysteries + Great Follow-up to Dolores
This book rocked. I wasn't sure how it was going to go (didn't know anything about the authors), but it proved itself very interesting and valuable.I had read Dolores Cannon's Jesus and the Essenes, as well as her other book “They Walked with Jesus”, and I like how she puts a continuous focus on third-party validity of her methodology, meaning she lets the reader know how there couldn't possibly be any bias. This text doesn't really do that style, but I don't think that's necessary unless you're trying to appeal to a wider community, one that probably won't accept you regardless. If you remember in Cannon’s book, it was often difficult to get Suddi to spill the beans about the Essene Way and teachings, but in this book the clients are able to bring forth knowledge and wisdom with great effortless ease. And to my delight, moreso on the esoteric/spiritual side, as Suddi was only focused on learning the Jewish law. Likewise you'll discover that there are many aspects to the essene culture/ communities, many different essential roles, you’ll learn about the founders of the essenes [the Kaloo], how many communities there are and where (yes, Qumran was not the only one), cool mysteries like the Melchizedek Order as referenced in Hebrews 6, Psalms 110, and “The Ancient secret of the Flower of Life” book. Information about The Druids. Information about Mary Magdalene and how she was secretly the most advanced disciple ( interestingly the gnostic Gospel of Mary seems to confirm this concept). The true purpose of the crucifixion ritual. Fantastic, astute clarification on Jesus's teachings. And much more. There were only about 3 points I wish they had gained more clarity on.The 2 authors -- past life therapist Joanne Prentis and the writer Stuart Wilson -- work together well to organize and comment on the information that's coming through. They also use more than one hypnotherapy client. There are some parts of this that seem dubious at first, but do seem plausible as more information is filled in. For example one of the channeled personages is Joseph of Arimathea. They make sure to give context to everything to show that it is all plausible in terms of real historical data that we have, and they consolidate the info with what we learned from Dolores’ bookIn short: it's fantastic, it's a great read for anyone interested in esoterica & Spiritual Development, fans of Essenes lore, mystical Jesus lore, Dolores Cannon's book, and it's currently a great price. Go for it

Essenes, reincarnation, past life regression, woo-woo
Okay it all sounds woo-woo at the outset- the Essenes were new to me and this book gives some information on their background. Through past life regression characters show us the life around the time of Jesus. Interesting and inspiring.

Profound
This book affected me very deeply. At the end, I felt I had spent so much time with the presence of Jesus, although the stories are told by those around him and working directly with him. I grieved the suffering He endured, and longed for Him like a lost child if you can believe that. So much more clarity about what His mission was, what tools the brotherhood and sisterhood used, and the ENORMOUS sacrifices made by the Essenes and the new followers, aka the apostles. And when it was over, it was over, with the global descent and anchoring of the LIGHT into the earth and within humanity. The Romans definitely launched an investigation and assault following the success of the crucifixion demonstration by the Master Lord Jesus - the Teacher of Righteousness. A very inspiring book which I urge all followers of the teachings of Jesus to read.

I do recommend
I have some books on the same subject but this one has a twist: More info and more geographic reference. I would like to see more books on the same subject to be more authentic, more local research. I recommend those who do not know anything about the Essenes.

A Balanced community..
Well, theirs was a beautiful way of life. I think we could still live like that but not necessarily in tunics, sandals and no make-up! These people were taught a way of life by an advanced society. Should we ever choose to mirror it I feel we should be equally progressive and not hold ourselves back by denouncing modern technologies which seems to happen when people start recreating some alternative lifestyle from the past. But this book is a joy in that it opens the door to the world as Jesus knew it. Stuart Wilson has stumbled upon people who `were there` and it`s never an accident. I for one, am delighted and grateful that he did. The teachings of Christ have been re- interpreted by scribes over the centuries so it`s refreshing to read how things really were. I know Jesus would not want us to look back and try to create any more scripture from these channeled books. I feel this infornmation is more a frame work for us. We can then use it to spring- board into the future with a clearer understanding of what he was trying to achieve. The wisdom of his teaching is timeless. This book brings a lovely energy (they all do) I hoovered it up, I hope you do too! xx
