Wellness WHIMZEES Value Box Dog Dental Treats, Natural Chews, Medium Size (44 Count)

After some experimentation, this is my preferred dental chew for the pupper. She loves them and they take long enough for her to chew through to work on her teeth. I also appreciate the limited number of ingredients, all recognizable. She's a 35lb KVD/Jindo and a super chewer on other things like toys and collagen sticks.We had to go without Whimzees for a while when cutting out yeast during an allergy test, so Greenies were the replacement. While on Greenies, I noticed her breath was worse (it actually smelled a bit whereas she has no breath issues while on Whimzees) and her teeth didn't seem to be getting as clean. Greenies seems like a great product but they're quite a bit softer and I think my doggo in particular just devours them too fast/in large chunks for them to have an effect.Once the allergy test was over, I had stock of three different dental chew brands so I was letting her pick between them every day. She *always* went for the Greenies. Every single time. She definitely prefers them, taste-wise.But since I felt like Whimzees worked better for her dental health, I swapped back to them. She still enjoys them very much and there was an immediate improvement to her breath/teeth. I let her choose every day between all three Whimzees shapes offered in this pack. She picks different ones on different days and doesn't seem to have a preference... she *might* be choosing the Stix slightly more regularly than the others if I were to guess but not by a large margin if so. She really does seem to like them all. I also get her a single antler shaped Whimzee whenever we go to the pet store together. She loves that one as well.She also loves to play with both brands. She tosses them around a bit before settling down to chomp on them.So I actually now use the remaining Greenies as an occasional treat (broken up) because she seems to love those so much, and Whimzees is the daily dental chew of choice because she loves them too and they work best for her dental health.(If you're curious, the third brand of chews I tried was Natural Dog Company Premium Dental Treats. She licked one and refused to touch them ever again so they had to go in the trash.)

Jake has food allergies and these help to clean his teeth and also give him a treat. He enjoys picking out which one he’d like and truly enjoys tossing the alligator around before eating. There’s no harsh smell and he’s an aggressive chewer for an Aussie Cattle dog (37 lbs.) , so he can finish the medium size in about 15-20minutes max. He enjoys all the shapes but I think the alligator is his most favorite to toss around before eating. Not sure if that’s just his natural Australian instinct coming out.

These last significantly longer than traditional Greenies, as well as the Costco version or any other similar dental treat we’ve tried. It takes my medium sized dog a lot longer to chew these up, which is more time for teeth cleaning. Happy pup!

While my aussie loves these and I have purchased in the medium and large size, I do feel like she chews through them relatively quickly. I wish they were a little harder, but she is happy with them.

Our dogs love these; a nightly ritual. It seems to be helping to keep their teeth clean. We've been using them for about 5 years.

I purchased these two fold. Something my dogs could chew on that wouldn’t chip their teeth and keep their teeth clean and fresh. Way too hard and pieces broke off in pretty big chunks and lasted about 2 minutes. Would not recommend. Way too hard!
