Looks ugly. Hits target with satisfying thud.
This looked ugly when I unpacked it. Hammer forge marks visible all over blade. Threw it at target. Once I got distance it started sticking. Then I started hurling it at target full force and burying edge. It was hard to remove. I no longer cared about surface finish.

Decent but not wonderful
It shipped promptly and well packaged, the QC must have been napping when it was made because not only did they sink a wedge in a tomahawk for some reason, but they sunk it cross-grain and split the handle. I'm not concerned because that's the cheapest part to replace, but just be aware of that.

Quite happy with this purchase.
Very happy with this tomahawk. It's very well balanced and is quickly becoming my favorite to throw.

Heavy hitter
The media could not be loaded. Traditional trade axes were 1.5lb mostly, this one is in the 1.8lb range. The weight does all the work for you and is perfect for throwing. If you were looking for double duty I’d opt for the forged 1.5lb that is available on Amazon.

Dollar for dollar...the best
Good steel and stout hard wood handle.Only complaint is... the thing needed sharpened (wouldn't cut butter)
