Bone Broth Gelatin Powder - Gelling Type - Pure Protein Organics 2 lb

Very happy to find a good gelatin made of bone broth from grass-fed cows. Not only does it mix easily without clumping, but works well to thicken recipes. This is the second time I've bought this brand and it's been great both times.

I love this gelling bone broth powder! I use it to make gelatin for my pups with a fermented fish stock that stinks something awful! They love the fish stock, but the smell would stay on the fur around their muzzle nd stink up the room, even though I wiped their faces. Yuck! But now that I can make gelatin with it, there is no mess and no lingering smell. Plus they get the benefits of the bone broth, too. Win-win!

I like the fact that this is bone broth, not hide broth. I buy it because it seems to be a healthier alternative to collagen from treated hides. However, it's really hard to keep it in suspension in my coffee. I have to drink it fast or stir it periodically. It makes great chocolate pudding with almond milk though. It seems to gel pretty fast, and does great for refrigerated desserts.

I have added this to my home-made yogurt along with Ceylon cinnamon and baobab fruit powder. It's a pretty good way to take it. Recently I've added it to the hot milk prior to cooling it and adding the yogurt culture. Turns out okay.
