This little popcorn maker makes it so easy to make popcorn in the microwave! Although there is a seal between the lid and the bowl, the lid does rise as the popcorn pops. Works fine without any oil added and it easy to clean up.

Ich wollte gerne einfach, schnell, ohne viel Aufwand, ohne noch viel dreckig zu machen, am besten ohne Müll und günstig zuhause Popcorn machen.Beim Lesen bin ich letztlich auf diese Schüssel gestoßen - die Bewertungen sind ja durchaus gemischt, so dass ich dachte, klappt entweder oder nicht.Es hat dann gleich beim ersten Mal und auch danach top funktioniert. Sicherheitshalber habe ich auf Öl verzichtet, weil einige schreiben, dass es bei ihnen verbrannt ist (vermutlich Öl genommen, dass man nicht so heiß erhitzen darf). Habe 2 TL Wasser mit 2 TL Zucker verrührt und anschließend Mais von Segeberger (Rewe, aktuell 1,99 für 500g) bis zur unteren Markierung eingegeben. Diese Packung wird wohl locker für mehr als 10x Popcorn machen reichen. Deckel locker in die Schüssel auflegen. Dann für 3 Min bei Max in die Mikrowelle, man merkt, dass es langsam weniger poppt. Die ganze Wohnung riecht lecker nach Popcorn.Ergebnis lecker, die allermeisten Körner sind aufgegangen, keine Schweinerei.Man muss aber darauf achten, dass man wirklich nur die Griffe anfässt, der Rest der Schüssel ist heiß!Es folgten weitere Versuche mit verschieden viel Zucker oder auch mit geschmolzener Sanella. Hat ebenfalls alles funktioniert, am besten schmeckt mir das erste. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass man das Popcorn gleich essen kann, weil ja vorher schon alles dazugegeben wurde und man nicht noch hinterher rummischen muss. Zeitaufwand für eine Schüssel höchstens 5 Min.Reinigung einfach und unkompliziert, platzsparend verstaubar.

Fed up with all the elbow grease required (to clean the pan ) after making popcorn i thought i would give this microwave version a try as it had lots of positive reviews. Well - all i can say is its absolutely brilliant! Its really easy to use - just add a 1/4 cup of popping corn and nothing else - 3 mins in the microwave and hey presto loads of lovely popcorn. Although the box suggests adding butter or salt i followed the advice of others who didn't add anything and it works just fine with the added bonus that your popcorn is natural - you can still add flavouring after if you want but we love it without anything added. Also as its silicone its easy to clean and because it folds up easy to store too.
