I’ve been using the brace for 2 weeks on my 11.5 year old YorkiePoo and I think it is working. She doesn’t mind having it on and I think it’s because it decreases her discomfort. I had hoped it would slow her down but it doesn’t. It does stop her from climbing the stairs and jumping which is good. I’ve had no problem keeping it from sliding down. I have noticed that it is much more secure though when she has a little shirt/dress on.I’m hoping she will continue to heal because I really want to avoid surgery at her age.I feel I should have had her groomed before taking these pics. 😊I’m very happy with this product. In fact I’ve ordered a left knee one as well in case she blows out that knee next.

..haben die Bandage NUR als Übergang für die Feiertage bestellt.Patellaluxation benötigt unbedingt eine maßgeschneiderte Orthese/Bandage.Die Bandage sitzt gut, aber man sollte keine Wunder erwarten.Dei richtige Grösse zu finden ist sehr schwierig.Wir haben eine Nr. kleiner bestellt, und diese passte dann doch gut.Nach unserer Messung hätten wir eigentlich eine Nr. grösser bestellen müssen, diese war aber nicht auf Lager, sodass wir verzweifelt die Grösser kleiner bestellt haben.

Yorkie responded well to the brace. The only problem is that the thigh Velcro tab becomes detached several times during the day. I think the thigh tab could have been longer enabling it to stay attached better. I'm considering how to lengthen the tab for a more secure fit.

My dog’s knee dislocated. I learned how to get it back in but I was told if it didn’t staying in she’d end up needing surgery. Surgery is WAY too much $$$. Found this brace that fits perfectly. Others I tried were too big. This fits like a sock. The little Houdini somehow slide out of it once, but it does not just fall off on its own. She walks a little stiff with it but it’s only day 2. She hasn’t had any issues with relieving herself while wearing it either.
