Velvet fabric is soft, the sleeves are very flattering..over all great buy for a Halloween costume. I am 5'9" and it hits the top of my feet perfectly in front and the back drags nicely. Very adjustable to fit many sizes because of the lace up design. Worth the $30 I paid

Let’s start with the pros:This dress is opaque. No worries about showing anything you don’t want to.It’s also heavy and a bit warm, so you won’t have to wear anything over it or layered under it if you’re wearing it for Halloween.It also fit well over my shoulders, and touches the ground without tripping me.Now for the cons.My particular dress came with its sleeves on backwards. Also they were far too long, which is extra impressive given I have long arms. The split was down at mid forearm instead of at the elbow. It was a pretty quick fix, but I’m annoyed to have needed to make it.This is just my own two cents, but to get the skirt to flare out nicely I think you’d need to get a petticoat. As far as the corset front and back, I found it puckered the fabric in an unattractive way. You’re probably better off wearing an actual corset on top of the dress, or maybe a belt to cinch in the waist instead.

Excellent dress. One major flaw...the size chart is off. The material is also very stretchy, which is nice but if you want this more form fitting you might want to order a size down. I am a US 14 and ordered accordingly. The dress was so big it fell off. I'm returning for a much smaller size. Lost what I paid in shipping and now I have to scramble for a Halloween outfit, but the dress is so nice I really want the size that fits.

It is an extremely long gown. I ordered a size small, I am 5’2 and it was still tripping me. Even with my boots which have a good inch and a half of platform and a heel. Still a very comfy gown, nice and soft. It kept me pretty warm, I wore it for the Haunted Woods my town does so I was outside for four hours helping to scare people. Other than it being made for a giraffe. I like it a lot.

I have to say that this is by far the best quality costume I have ever had. Now that is coming from most of my costumes came from party city or something similar. It also arrived in a timely manner. If I had any complaints it would be the strings. The dress is so nice but the strings seem like what you would get on a Hanes hoodie. But for the cost, I will go get some ribbon. I am not one to pick something apart. I'm not going to look for every loose stitch or stray thread. They could easily charge a lot more for this costume. It is a heavy and thick material with lace and sheer sleeves below the elbow. I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased.

This dress is great quality! I was so impressed with how perfect it fit! I ordered a Medium in silver. It has lace up design on the front and the back which created a perfect silhouette. The velvet was thick and there were no concerns of being see through. The sleeves are beautiful and drape perfectly!I am on the shorter side at 4’11” so I figured I’d need to alter it. I just didn’t get a chance alter it before the event.I ordered it for my nephew’s Harry Potter birthday party. I was the Head Mistress, so I felt that this dress was right up Dumbledore’s ally.Didn’t get a good picture at the event! I might put it on again to get another one! I’ll definitely wear this dress for other events like the Rennfest! I would love to get in other colors too!

Ok LOVE THIS DRESS!!!!! I am a 5'4 woman at roughly 175ish pounds. I ordered a size larger than I would normally would for a dress and I am VERY glad i did. The Large fits PERFECTLY. would advise anyone ordering this dress to go a size up from what you would normally wear.
