This is an excellent product and will help with diesel engine performance.I am not a diesel engine guru or mechanic. But the 1994 6.5 turbo diesel I own loves this product. Did get the advertised 10% increase in MPG and you can for sure hear the difference between the way the engine runs on standard diesel fuel and standard diesel fuel with Max-tane added to it. The difference is very noticeableThe products you see on all the gas station and auto part shelves only raise the cetane levels by five, which is not enough. Max-tane offers an increase of 8 cetane. Ideally you want the total cetane level to be around 50 or higher- Most standard diesel fuel comes in at a very low 42 cetane level. Max-Tane gets you to 50.

Started using the royal purple after having my common rail high pressure Bosch fuel pump failed. Dealer recommendation for US fuel. Only time will tell if there is a benefit. Only downside is measuring the additive, the container seems to be made for a large fuel tank. For my 14 gallon tank I have to measure out the few ounces that in using.

I have tried all other products to fix my stiction issue on my powerstroke asideof injector replacment . after trying this product i have incresed my MPG and no issues starting on cold mornings ,all injectors fire right up .Great product
