I bought my iPad to use for remote work on my website and writing projects. Most "guides" to using them seem to focus on playing games and taking pictures. Even when Apple tries to pint out business uses, they seem to think charts and pie graphs are all that are needed. This "book" taught me a whole lot about using my iPad for writing and managing photos very quickly, and I expect to learn a lot more from it about the sort of uses I want to put my tablet to.

I truly love it. Easy to understand, lots of illustrations and step by step. I am really learning more and more of how to use my iPad. I strongly recommended for beginners and intermediate levels.

I recently bought an iPad Air. Although I can navigate the basics of the iPad, there are lots of things I didn't know how to do or things I didn't know about at all. For instance: I have a case with a keyboard. I couldn't figure out how to make the keyboard work. (Yes, I'm learning) A quick look in this book and I knew how to set up Bluetooth and use keyboard in seconds. This is a great book filled with information in a clear concise manner.

This being my first Apple product (other than an iPod Shuffle), I needed something to give me a broad overview of the product and this book fit the bill. It's well laid-out and discusses the capabilities of the iPad in enough detail to give me a good start on using the device. I could have used a chapter on how to get the iPad to play well with the Windows world as well as some details on rebooting or recovering from crashes. All in all, it was worth the money for me.

I am 69 years old and use my I/ pad every day without fail...I also have an I/Mac but use the I/pad far more...banking, reading, bible , study materials, social networks, background and research, camaraderie, video camera, everything but a fingernail clipper, (that's probably in the works....simply said...I Love It!!!!

This is a great book and must have for any one with an Apple iPad. I couldn't believe the possible things I could do with my iPad, until I bought and read it. For sure I will recommend it to all my friends and any one I know who has an iPad.

Coming from an android tablet didn't want the little learning curve associated with a new device so purchased this book and it was a good reference in helping me get the most from my iPad I still use and prefer my android tablet but apple is nice also. This is a Great book for me everybody has different expectations when they buy how to books but it fits the bill for me.

Everything you ever wanted to know about your ipad is in this book. Well written with lots of diagrams. A must have for anyone who uses their tablet a lot. Our home has two ipads IV and an Acer Iconia A500 all of them are super great tablets. No regrets in buying any of them or this wonderful book.

I have been using this ipad cover for 18 months and taken it on several trips abroad and it has never let me down. It keeps the iPad firmly in place and stands up securely unlike the Apple ipad cover which wobbles and is much more expensive too. This iPad cover enables access to all the buttons and portals in all the right places. It folds into a neat protective book easy to tuck away in the brief case for travel. I have been more than pleased with it and it has stood the test of time too.

I bought a book by Gary Rozenzweig when I was first given my iPad (which was a godsend because I had always used the Windows system!) and felt I needed an update when I downloaded iOS7. He explains things so well.

Saw this same book for £ 15.99 and was very impressed with the fact that I paid £ 7.99 plus postage amounting to around £ 10.Beautifully illustrated book which will help not only our grandson but his grandparents understand the machinations of the iPad.

This is the definitive guide to the Apple iPad series of tablets although I note that Amazon misses out that it also covers the iPad Air.As owners of the iPad 4 and iPad Air my wife and I found the manual clear, concise and very easy to follow. Worth every penny.
