Wanted to search outside my house to catch more scorpions before they entered my home, and had used a small UV flash that required me to be closer to them than I wanted just to be sure they were scorpions. This light didn't seem to extend much farther than my current little one BUT then I saw the very bright form that is unmistakeably Scorpion ! So I'd still like it to extend it's beam even further (because I don't want an unseen scorpion to be close enough to try to avenge the deaths of those I have found using this flash) but in truth the scorpions show up better than anything else, and from several yards away. I stopped 8 or 9 from ever entering my home and another that made it into my garage from entering the living quarters.

If you want to find where your pet urinated on the carpet long after it has dried (but still smells badly) this is the tool to use. Turn out the light in the bathroom and find out how well the bathroom is being cleaned. You'll see the splash marks on the wall that you won't see with the naked eye.

With a household of four cats and a dog, occasionally we have some spiteful urination. It isn't always easy to tell where it's coming from, but you sure know it's there! The other black lights I've had have been so dim that I needed to wait for full dark and then shut off all the lights, and still I need to get down to within a foot or so of the urine. Not so with this light!I can clearly see where the urine spots are even with the overhead light on. It's worse than I thought, but at least now I'm clear on what I'm up against.Next purchase: a case of Resolve carpet cleaner.

I really Like this light I have another that looks like a regular flashlight but with uv but it's not as bright. This is very bright and if you don't want to see how gross things are and seeing creepy stuff then by another. If you want a really good one that shows more then you want to see then this one is the one! Only problem is the screw end part that holds the batteries in doesn't stay on it just pops off when you screw it so you will need tape Ugh, But the light beam is great

Great size beam. You can certainly see whatever you need to and what you wish you didn’t see. A black light bares all.I have used flourescent tube black light and small black light flashlight. By comparison the beam on this unit is not as intense, not in terms of brightness, but the depth of color, the deepness of the purple color. Not sure how this affects how much you can see under a black light but there is certainly a difference in color intensity.

Worked great! We used it in multiple hotels around the Philadelphia area. We felt relaxed knowing the rooms were sanitized and bug free! This purchase was made after spending $3,000 for a week in a hotel in Destin Florida. We all came home with horrible super lice! So invest in a tool like this, and save your sanity, time and money, prior to this happening to you!

Was able to verify the pee that was coming through my ceiling was from upstairs neighbors dogs that she never took out. I got sick from it after her being here 7 mos. She was evicted and now I can get better...I donated this to our Maintenance Dept

Have not located a scorpion BUT I tagged every toilet in my home and talked to all the males. They were embarrassed. WTH!....inside the toilet! I found urine on the tank lid! Sides. Floor. Drops on the wall! I was pretty pissed. 🤨. Then so was my hubby. Now my dogs, they ran away from me. They too know this means trouble!
