Wood work chuck
The look is good but the overall build is very low quality it looks like I will have to dismantle the unit to get rid of the loose chuck jaws

Chinese crap,mushed togethor with no thought
I thought I would try my luck with a Chinese chuck.wow what a mistake.the teeth arnt numbered and the jaws are not.this makes a big difference if you want a well balanced chuck.I must have used up about £70 of wood totally wasted as it’s impossible to turn anything totally round.when you try tighten or undo the teeth it gets jammed.also three teeth will move and the other drops down so when tightening up nothing comes to the middle properly so there for doesn’t clamp the wood as it should.I’ve never had wood fly of my lathe,trouble is it turns wood slightly of round.I wish Amazon would quality control some of the products they sell.So now I have purchased a proper British made chuck that I know will do the job and not waste my wood.
