Each pad usually lasts about 2-3 weeks before it needs to be thrown out

I cut these in half and use them for my heated humidifier. They work well and absorb the mineral and filter the water before it hits the heating element. These also make it easier to clean out the heating element area as most of the mineral deposits and other issues are contained in this pad. This package should last me around 2 humidifying seasons.

I was angry at how other sellers seem to always charge more for shipping these pads than the pads cost alone. I mean come on, they are glorified cotton balls. I found these pads to be more cost effective than the rounds as well as having free shipping. I just cut them in half and place them in the cup. They work just as well at a fraction of the cost.

The pads were delivered quickly. They work well. I don't have to do much cleaning of my humidifier, just removed the old pads and install the new ones.

With a little cutting, can get these to work with a Vick’s V790 warm mist humidifier. I can make make two filters out of one of these filters. Directions: Cut the filter in 4 equal size pieces. Next, cut each of the 4 pieces in center but ONLY cut half way. Works fine for me. See picture

Doesn't fit my Vicks humidifier even remotely despite being shown as Frequently sold together " on the website. The seller did refund the cost,although reluctantly.

If you're willing to cut these pads, you will save a ton of money over the more expensive Vicks round pads. Two of them last three weeks in my humidifier, so this package will last all winter. With Vicks, I would have to buy three packs, costing me about 6x as much in the end. Would give them 5 stars if they would make round pads.
