Trope Chicago Hardcover – Illustrated, 1 October 2018

Ich bin zugegebenermaßen kein großer Fan von Bildbändern, aber als ich diesen in einem Souveniershop in Chicagoer Hancock-Tower gesehen und drin geblättert habe, war ich echt geflashed und musste mir diesen dann in Deutschland direkt bestellen (er ist sehr dick und schwer). Enthalten sind echt tolle Bilder, welche teilweise recht stark bearbeitet sind, für Puristen vielleicht eher weniger geeignet, aber meinen Geschmack hat es voll getroffen. Mein erster Bildband, top!

Très beau livre, belle photo et bon texte. Idéale pour se projeter dans un futur voyage à Chicago !(Bien emballé également sous film plastique)

Muy buen libro de fotografías, lo recomiendo ampliamente, desde el tipo de papel y la secuencia de las imágenes de la ciudad.

I'm not a big fan of photography books, but when I saw this one, I fell in love! The paper is good quality, and the photographs are done in such a way that they feel cohesive, even though they are by different photographers. I have purchased this book as a gift, and recommended it to people to buy as a chicago momento. It shows Chicago in all it's moods - the windy winters, the foggy/rainy day springs. The way the city lights permeate the snow storms, and all the seasons of the lake. I tell everyone that if I ever move out of Chicago, this is the ONLY book I want to have to remind me of this city.
