YAMAHAYFL-462H Intermediate Flute with Gold Lip Plate

I received this Flute in perfect condition as advertised New. I love the tone and ease of playability of this Flute. This is my favorite as I really love the way Yamaha builds their Flutes. I know that I will enjoy this for years to come and will eventually buy a Yamaha Pro Flute when I need.

As a 45 year Sax player who has purchased many horns over the years, I chuckle at some of the marketing that goes on that is completely designed to get people to spend more money than they need to. This Yamaha YFL-462 is a great example. I own a prized handmade Sterling silver Haynes from the early 70's which was the era of supreme craftsmanship in the USA. drawn tone holes, sterling silver hand-cut head joint etc. I picked up this Yamaha as my Haynes didn't have a low B or any of the gizmo keys and good god, what a Flute! Yamaha as a company is often misunderstood because they do so many things but for music, everything and I mean everything they make whether it's a acoustic guitar, piano, sax or flute is just the finest instrument you can buy. Don't be fooled by marketing that says you need a professional this or that, 80% of the music comes from you, good equipment just makes it a little easier. I love this flute! Bravo Yamaha
