Hiti products are from China. I got nervous when this ran out.

Pricey, but just what I needed.

I have been purchasing this paper for my photo booth business for over 4 years now. It has always been perfect. Tonight I immediately noticed as I opened the box that the paper roll holder was different, made of a cheaper plastic, and difficult to insert the rollers into. As soon as the first print came out of the printer, I immediately noticed how thin this paper was compared to the previous 4 years. I have ordered this paper dozens of times. I have held printed photo strips from this paper thousands of times. I immediately knew how thin and cheap this most recent order felt in my hand. EITHER hiti has lowered their quality extremely recently, or I received a fake imitation box. The "hiti" logo on the back of the paper of this most recent order was also distorted and faded far more than my previous purchases.

It works good the paper still the same just be careful with the ribbons their very fragile, and dont forget to update firmware for your printer

This new design is TERRIBLE. They made things so much harder for NO reason. They say its to save on plastic being made. Well, that's a nice sentiment, but why not pass those savings down to the customer? We paying the same price for a harder product to replace.Notches on the printer roll is close to impossible to find in dark situations. And still hard even in well lit areas. The ribbon is so loose it feels like its gonna tare apart in your hand. Bad re-design. Very bad.

So far it's easy to use and printing as expected

Needed paper for an event, ordered this one because it was prime available. Paid for faster shipping and got to Hawaii in time. Will order again.
