Decent unit that powers servo controllers for RC hobbyists (batts not included)
Decent battery holder with decent plastic construction. Many other holders only have the 2 exposed wires while this has a "Futaba style J-connector". For those of you wondering, yes this works with servo controllers for RC hobbyists, the "Futaba" statement can seem confusing as Futaba is a brand and this is not a Futaba unit but rest assured, it will power servo controllers. Good price for a simple product for simple servo testing.

Requires 4 AA batteries. Will not work with anything else. The material is made from a quality plastic, probably a polymer but I don't know the difference between the two or maybe very similar. The coils are made from metal, I'm going to assume that's where the batteries go. The batteries(when installed correctly) will put out a total amount of 6 volts of energy to the plug which is why I ordered this magical piece of modern technology to give light to some diodes.

This is just simple add-on for my battery charger, but as there seems to be many different version of this for sale, let me attest that this one works as needed to plug into my charger and charge 4 AA (rechargeable)batteries. Is what the add said it was. This is great because you can buy the Amazon brand rechargeable batteries for about 10 bucks and thats all you need to power your RC. No need for the expensive battery packs made “specific” for RC

This is a lot better than using a regular RC battery + ESC. Great for my field setup.

Replacement for corroded battery holder in old transistor radio
I collect old transistor radios. Bought this to replace an old corroded 4 x AA battery holder. I cut off the little connector on the end of the cable, and spliced/soldered it to the leads in the radio. Fit into the radio just fine. Nicely constructed. Very fair price. If you need one - go for it.
