I applied this stuff to my front porch steps after a recent fall. The application was rather easy and it soaked right into the wood like nothing was there. It dried clear with a safe non-slip surface. I have no more worries about the front porch steps. I looked at several other products but I'm glad I got the wood guard. Innovative tub Solutions is surprisingly innovative. I have recommended it to my friends and will apply some to my back porch. I also recommend this stuff to you, it worked rather well. 👍🇺🇸⚓

I love the concept of the product, which is designed to give my wood deck some traction when wet. Too often people slip on my deck, so I went looking for a product that would help. The owner of the company was responsive to my questions.Here's the rub...I am not sure if I ever got the full realization of the product. After 1 coat, definitely not. After 2 coats (as suggested by the instructions), I could see the water repelling but no slip prevention. After 3 coats, I got excellent water repelling, and after the 4th coat, I could feel some slip prevention. This stuff is expensive, and that is a lot of coats to get the results I got.My deck is in central Missouri, and it is newer wood that was power-washed. This product manufacturer and I wondered if perhaps my deck was "extra thirsty" and thus needed more coats. Your results probably vary by climate and wood, so if you want to give this product a shot, you might enjoy it.I'm also very curious how this wears. I applied it in August, and will be interested to see what happens one year later.

The bottle that came has a tan color in it. It clearly says will dry clear..FALSE.. It dried tan and ruin our wood painting turning it a yellow color instead of drying clear. False advertising.

I used this on my cabin deck and stairs which are often damp and get slick. Be sure to clean well first. I think this stuff is pricey but I think it will be worth it!

Used this for our outdoor shower and it's perfect. Even after heavy rainstorms or long showers our barefeet no longer slip and side. Been half a season and still holding up well. There's a couple of scuffs in the picture but that's because we dropped something on it while it was still drying. Entirely user error.

The ad says it dries clear. While you might not notice much if uses on darker finishes, light and white surfaces recieve a distinct tan hue.

I tried the adhesive stair treads, but they looked like an eye sore. What I like about this product is, it applies easily and dries clear. You can feel the non slip grip, but there is no unsightly sticker. Provides good safe traction.

I had to wait until my deck was finished until I applied this product or I would have returned it. Not only does it not work on new wood, but it doesn't work on my old wood either. It actually makes it worse!!! Haven't purchased a product this disappointing in a long time. And $50! Wow. DO NOT BUY.
