These are really nice clippers. I have been through many sets over the past 25 years of managing horses. I clipped about 8 horses this season and they still feel brand new. I didn't get the battery ones as were a bit more expensive but these have a long enough cord which makes it pretty easy. They are not completely silent they do make noise but even my more skittish horses don't seem to mind. Got to make sure you oil them continuously whilst clipping (it tells you that) and then its smooth and fast. They very solid looking so I think they will last me many years.

Chose these over a more expensive brand. Glad I did, didn't get hot at all, and clipped really well. Quiet for a big clipper.

Very powerful - bought it for my very hairy dog whose coat defeats standard clippers (not clear on advert it’s for horses) however shaves very close to skin and need to buy a separate blade to achieve an appropriate cut. Also the position one would want to hold it during use caused my thumb to keep switching it off.

Had the older version a few years back ,so I decided to get a new one , absolutely brilliant,and a lovely colour

Use these for hogging mane and clipping legs to prevent mites - the blades have stood up well, easy to use, not too heavy, nice carry case - I bought oil separately, but they actually come with oil in the case. Great value for money.
