Saint Michael The Archangel Medal - Patron Saints Medal (Small Size)

I received my Saint Michael Pendant today. I'm amazed at how detailed this is to be so small and it's beautiful. And thank you also for the free Mother Mary pendant. I'm going to wear them both together.

I’m very pleased with this, it’s a beautiful small St. Michael medal in .925 silver, sized appropriately for bracelet attachment.The image is very detailed, very well done. The medal appears to be, and the Italian manufacturer included a note indicating that it is not coated with any protectant or anti-tarnish.This is an absolute plus for me, I prefer my sterling to age naturally and pick up some patina. The clear coats that some sterling jewelry come with make it look fake and costumey in my opinion, and those coated surfaces scratch without tarnishing which I think looks terrible after some time.This is a very, very nice St. Michael medal, you won’t be disappointed!

This is VERY small but really pretty. Would consider this for a charm bracelet instead of a necklace.

I bought the small version (there is a listing with a bigger one) to put on another necklace that my husband Michael gave to me.I love this tiny medal as it is very detailed for such a small piece. Also, it seems to be well made. I’m not sure if it is really solid silver as the listing states as it is so super light weight, but that fact may also be the reason it is so light. Alternatively, it may be hollow and not solid. I don’t know. But, it’s such a pretty piece and the most important thing is that it will hold up. (I’ll update the review in a while to tell you if it will).I’d say, it is very gift able as it comes in a little box, but you should order it to you first to remove the plastic they wrap the box in. That’s just me, however.Anyway. I’m really satisfied with my purchase.

I lost my sterling silver medal. And decided to get a new one. Found this one and had it in my basket for awhile. Ordered it and I will say it is a blessing because it came quicker than what I expected. Very nice medal. Bigger than what I thought. And great detail. Came with prayer card. Super happy with purchase.

The relief on the medal is beautiful meaning the picture of St. Michael is bold and sits up above the medal itself. Often times these medals are simply stamped with an image that is very faint or not visible at all. The image of Saint Michael is shown in great detail which is perfect for me. I'm making a bracelet for my son and one for my daughter made from precious stones and this medal will be the centerpiece of the bracelet. You see my husband, Michael, passed away and I thought this would be a wonderful keepsake for my kids to own and wear. This is why it was so important that the archangel Saint Michael could be seen clearly on this medal. I haven't made the bracelets yet but I will provide a follow-up to this review once the bracelets are finished.
