I loved using this set with my kids, definitely great for beginners and children. I thought the two tshirts that came with it was kids sizes but it’s actually adult shirts. My kids still loved dying them, but we’re gonna buy shirts for them that is their size. And do this again. There was enough to do 5 shirts and 4 pairs of socks and there was leftovers of some colors so we’ll be doing more soon.

It took a lot of time to pour the powder in each bottle. There is only one funnel so you can’t exactly tag team it. There were also three labels and powders that didn’t match so we used the powder that was closest to the label. For example, light blue label was cobalt blue powder as it was the lightest blue powder we had left. It would’ve saved so much time if the powder had already been in the bottles. Then all you’d have to do is add the water.

TEACHERS!!!If you are looking at this kit for your classroom- Keep looking.I bought this not realizing how small the bottles were and that all of the die is in packets and you have to pour the powder into the bottles and then add water to make the die.The colors are mostly fine- some are muddy looking but the set up process is not worth it.

This was a great kit. We had really good results with using the dye on dry shirts rather than wetting them first. More than enough dye to do all the included fabrics and then some. Super fun activity with the kids.

The bottles that come with this kit are very small. It comes with powder packets that you have to dump into the bottles yourself. Every other tie dye kit that I order, the powder is already in the bottle and you just add water. One bottle is only enough to do like 1/3 of a shirt, so be prepared ahead of time to have more colors ready.
