I cannot speak to the provenance of the two wires I received in this package, but they seem to be of high quality in content and manufacture. Smooth and strong wire; cut end bonded so it doesn't fray going through cabling. Great value delivered quickly

You receive two full length brake cables. Other sets provide one short (for the front) and one long. Cables and swages are nice quality.

Great for a quick fix, and can save a buck rather than buying the more expensive pack, while staying on brand. I stupidly cut my existing perfectly functioning cable too short when installing new brakes, so this did the trick. Jagwire does sell housing, but my existing housing worked perfectly fine.

Affordable and shifts just as well as the expensive coated cables. Lasts much longer than the coated cables, too. Buy these and the Shimano shift housing and replace both frequently for best shifting with any groupset. Note that these are 1.1mm cables, not 1.2mm - this makes them a much better fit for SRAM shifters, which won't take 1.2mm (Shimano) cables without a fight. They also work just fine in Shimano shifters, making these a universal replacement.Someone clearly bought a bulk pack and is way undercutting Jagwire's price on the individual wires. This is great in itself, but the fact that they include end crimps is icing on the cake. They ship fast, too. I've bought several sets and will continue to use these as my main source for cables as long as they are available!

Even if you don’t go all the way and upgrade your cable housings to Jagwire these will be smoother and have less drag. Lesser cables slide like knotty rope.If you’re going to do it right, replace the cable and housing with Jagwire. I bought these as I changed out Shimano cables in relatively new cable housings. Remarkable difference, just from the finish on the braided cable alone. Worth it.

New Shimano Ultegra 11 shifters were 4 months old and cables were frayed. Jagwire cables are now a year old and shift like new. They have lasted several years in the past. They are the best.

The description says fits all Shimano road bikes. Well, my set is a Shimano 105 group and the head on this doesn't match the picture nor the original cable. I'm hoping it will fit one of my other bikes so this order isn't a complete loss.
