Will it work for seed germination?Is it same a legume innoculant

Mycorrhiza can indeed help with seed germination, but you would need to apply Dynomyco directly under the seed to achieve this. Results may vary, depending on the application itself. Try to get the Dynomyco right there with the seed.
Legume inoculants typically contain nitrogen-fixing bacteria, e.g. rhizobium. This product does not contain rhizobial bacteria, rather mycorrhizal fungi - very different product. Mycorrhizal inoculants are more relevant to uptake of phosphorus and micro-nutrients.

Question 2

Can I use this in already established plants? Do I top dress soil or water it in?

We recommend using DYNOMYCO in the soil as early as possible (seeds or seedlings). Though we have seen positive results when applied on established plants, we do not recommend it, for several reasons: (1) Mycorrhizal fungi are large microbes, and do not "trickle down" into the soil as much as one would think, (2) Sunlight kills mycorrhizal fungi, so you would need to dig up some soil / roots to apply, and (3) Only new root segments inoculate with mycorrhizae, so you wouldn't be getting a comprehensive inoculation throughout the root. The closer you can get to young root segments, the better - That's where the magic happens!

Does this product have an expiration date?

Hi Lunch Lady (love the alias, BTW),

All DYNOMYCO products carry "Best if used by" dates, which are two years from manufacturing. The product does not expire, per se, rather it degrades over time. The concentration stated on the label (900 propagules/g) is guaranteed until that date, provided the product was stored as directed.

how many grams per gallon for hydroponic should i use? thanks

There are several methods of hydroponic cultivation, and it ultimately boils down to your specific set-up, so there is no one answer to this question. Mycorrhizal fungi inoculates best when there is some sort of growing medium. To that extent, you're better off inoculating at the very beginning, when there is a plug or some sort of solid medium surrounding the root. Generally speaking, try to adapt the application rates on the label to your set-up, vis-a-vis the size of the plant and the root, and apply accordingly. Make sure you have at least 5 gr per young seedling, and at least twice as much if you're inoculating larger seedlings, per the label instructions.
