Go for it! I love it.
I read many reviews before buying this and took a chance, and I'm glad I did!!!Some reviews said it was too heavy. Im a 40 year old woman and I was able to slide it up 5 stairs on my porch and into my room. Yes its heavy but if you have a moving dolly or another person in the house it shouldn't be an issue. Also, for such a large heavy item it was delivered very fast!!Some reviews complained about the assembly and the directions. I had no issues at all. If you can change a tire, you could easily assemble this. The directions are pictures but it was very clear to me. Every piece is labeled and there were 2 extra screws as back up. It comes with 2 allen wrenches, for the 2 screw sizes. It's very sturdy. The shelve area is spacious. After I received this, I had set it up in under an hour (would have been quicker but I had to pick up my kids from school). My ONLY dilemma is what to put on it.Oh and my cat is making sure to jump on every level to thoroughly check it out.I'm getting a second one next month to make it a "his and hers" closet.I highly recommend it to anyone.Edit: it's a month later and I added another one. It came just as fast and in perfect condition.I now have two side by side for a his and hers closet effect.Putting away laundry is actually fun now. I love them!!

Great Product!
Takes 2 people to set up but they are sturdy. Keep my clothes organized and the shelves are great storage for my bins. Keeps things organized. These are great for tuning a small room into a closet. Good quality! I am very satisfied.

Great shelving unit!
This was an excellent buy, and if I had room, I’d get another!ASSEMBLY: Two of us put it together relatively easily. I think we mostly followed the directions, though both of us have assembled many things before, so we might have unconsciously modified it a bit. We also found two hex wrenches in our tools that matched the ones they sent (I believe the ones sent are metric), so both of us could be tightening screws. That sped things up a lot.Basically - before you tighten things all the way down, make sure it’s square, and the other pieces will fit into their places. Getting the bottom screws in was a little tricky - we tipped the unit at about a 45 degree angle (either have someone hold it or rest it against something). There was some blind work to insert and tighten those screws as we were in a tight area between bed and wall, but not too bad.The most challenging part for us turned out to be user error. We were down to the last shelves to screw in, needed 4 large screws, only had one. Long pause for searching, cursing, and problem solving. We eventually improvised with the screws from our heavy iron Christmas tree stand (the triangular hooks poking out of the end of a few of the shelves). I covered them in gorilla tape, and planned to use them to hang things. Then a day or so later, we found a package of 4 big screws on the porch where the shelving unit had been unboxed. 😵 We used them to replace the Christmas stand screws, and put those back where they belonged.Lesson: while everything else needed for assembly was in one big package, be aware there may be some things separate! I usually count everything out and match it with the list on the instructions. Of course, the time that didn’t happen it made a difference. 🤦♀️I suggest two people for assembly, though it can be done with one if carefully planned out with something to support pieces while working on them. And I recommend counting out the pieces and screws before you begin, to make sure you didn’t leave something where you unboxed it. 🤨ADJUSTABILITY: The adjustable feet are helpful, too, this has to be one of the only pieces of furniture in our old house that doesn’t have cardboard or wood jammed under the front legs to make it even. You can see in the pictures before and after I adjusted the legs (look at the shadows on the wall).Note: if you move the unit after you adjust the feet, be careful. I pulled one of the feet out when I tugged the unit over the carpet a few inches. Thankfully I didn’t break it, and just had to lift the corner to re-insert the adjustable foot.OVERALL: I (we) recommend this unit. It is very sturdy, solid, and looks great. We are very impressed with the quality of the metal, its coating, and the quality of the fake wood shelves. They look and even feel fairly real. There is black laminate on all the shelf edges, so the unit can be freestanding in the middle of a room - there is no ugly side.Double thumbs-up!

Easy to assemble, sturdy.
I built this alone. I am small, and am not good with furniture building. However, this project was easily completed. The guide is easy to follow and they look great. I bought two shelf sets to place against each other as an indoor exotic plant display, and to display several models. The shelves did not come in white, so I did have to put out $50 in spray paint. Other than the painting, it took me about three hours to assemble by myself. The top of the shelf adds additional storage as it is solid. All building pieces including hex keys. Screws are sent in exact amounts needed, so don't lose them!

Wasn't bad enough to return... turned out good.
First, definitely DON'T set up in a small room (ie: a guest bedroom) and DO take the time to take everything out and organize before starting. When I opened the box, screws and tools were everywhere. The bag that they came in just lay there completely empty of anything it was supposed to be holding. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Second, definitely DO enlist the help of one other person. I built this by myself to completion, but there were definitely two instances where I thought to myself, "if I fall or drop this shelf, my head might actually come off". Doable, but I don't recommend. Third, I was allowed to see that some of the metal shelves were damaged. They are painted or coated in matte black, which I wasn't able to purposely chip myself, but there were pieces that looked pretty scraped up when they came. That being said, this was too much of a pain in the butt to half build, take apart, shove back in the box and return... SO I FINISHED IT. Pros: really sturdy, looks nice completed, the faux wood shelves are actually really nice. I'm using this as a plant shelf, and I'm sure they'll be happy there.

Damaged and No Customer Service
The shelf itself is as advertised but two of the shelves arrived damaged. I tried to contact customer service multiple times but they will not respond. I cannot return the item nor can I get a discount for a damaged item. If you are purchasing this item and it arrives damaged do not expect to receive a replacement. You will just have to hide the unit where no one can see the damage.
