There are a lot of options for hand warmers but really only 4 basic types. These kind, the snap chemical fluid type, The Zippo thing and electronic. For ease of use and portability though you just can't beat this type.I bought all the main brands of these type of hand warmers. Hot Hands, YakTrax, Little Hotties, Heated and some off brands and I TESTED them!Basically I would open a pack and shake it some then leave it for about 20 minutes. These easily won that. They really did heat up the fastest. For the next test I placed a pouch in my snowboard glove and placed it in the freezer. I set a timer and I would check them every 15 minutes. Once again Heated was the leader. Every time I checked it, it was still warm and just a little bit of shaking brought it to a good comfy heat. After a few hours I then took them out and left them on the counter. Heated maintained a decent warmth for at least 8 hours per pouch. Many of the other ones I opened never even heated up. These will be our go-to pouches now for our snowboard trips. I hope this was helpful. Enjoy the warmth :)

These are really great. Love that they are biodegradable and really easy to use. Compact in size- you can slip them under your hat, gloves, and boots. Small but mighty, they do warm the cockles of your heart. Used them on my back after I fell and hurt it. Better than any patch I have ever used.

Awesome product. Not only did it keep me warm on my hike, the product lasted all day. I'm going to the Seahawks game on the 15th of December, I will for sure bring Heated to this event. Thank you and great job!

Great warmers. Used them hunting in the morning around 7am with temps in the teens, and had a bonfire that night around 10pm. The same warmers I took hunting were still keeping my hands warm that night. I was really surprised at how long they lasted. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Bought these as I was planning to attend an outdoor event. Had them in my gloves all afternoon and they stayed nice and warm. When we got home, I took them out and tossed them on the counter top. Later that night, as I cleared off the counter before going to bed, I was amazed to find they were still warm! Great product - I'll be buying these again!

Great heat and long-lasting. Used during my trip to Tahoe last week.Must be made of better ingredients than HotHands!! Lasted all day.I gave one set to my skiing pal with my recommendation.The higher cost, $5 per 2 hand package, is value added.

These work great. Took them on a ski trip and they lasted all day! You do have to shake them every now and again for them to get hot but they for sure last the 16 hours as advertised!

First pair I used on a trip to Turkey. Wasn't very cold as I thought it would be but decided to try out a pair. Worked great and lasted longer than 8 hours. Second pair I'll use on a trip to North Dakota in February and I'll update my review. Especially like the environmentally safe selling point of this product.
