The media could not be loaded.  These books have saved us from wasting so much money on paper backs and board books that my daughter shreds so quickly. She is 4, special needs, and chews on books, rips books, and so when we heard about these books we were OVER the moon excited for a safe option. Both my husband and I tried purposely to rip them before giving to our daughter and could not, so they really are rip free. However they are thin, very few pages, and the stories are definitely targeted at a very young audience with little content. We are so happy with the price and the quality!

Don't listen to any of the negative reviews. Anyone disappointed in how thin the pages are, must not be getting these books for their teething babies. Who cares if there are only a couple words on each page. Your baby can't read anyway.. Read them a different book if that's what you're intentions are. These books are to give your baby, while you're reading a book they can't chew on! It keeps them distracted and allows them to scrunch, chew and drool on the pages. I have other books from the indestructible series and have never had one fall apart. These things are awesome!

So I made an assumption that this was a board book when I bought it. When the book arrived I was a bit shocked to see a flimsy looking paperback book. I have a toddler and newborn and need books that can handle their not so delicate reading attempts. I gave it to my toddler and it held up pretty well. The only issue is that after I read it to him he likes to "read it on his own" and the pages are thin and hard to turn. I think it will be a great transitional book before using real paperback books though.. if this hold up I will be buying more! The book looks like a mini magazine but definitely is much stronger. I haven't had to "wash" it. But if I do I will edit my review and let you all know how it goes. I am excited to see how this hold up over time. * This books VERY thin has no spine (to see the title) so I suggest a forward facing book shelf so kids can see the book. It would get completely lost and be unnoticed in my house on our regular book shelves with all the board books.

I love this book and so does my 6 month old baby! This is the first book that I purchased for her from the Indestructibles line. Since receiving this book, I have purchased 4 other books from this brand. They really are chew and tear proof. My baby is a HEAVY drooler. If your baby isn't I would love to know your secret! My baby loves when I give her this book. She gets so excited because she can fling it all around without Mommy running over and grabbing it off of her to avoid it getting ruined. This book has been through a lot since we've received it and it is still holding up great. It has no tears or folds in it. I even tried to tear it myself. I applied a good bit of force and the book did not tear! This book has been tossed and crumpled by my baby and the fold marks smooth out almost perfectly over a short time. My favorite part is that when my baby is all done reading this book with her mouth, I just wipe the drool away with a wet rag, let it dry and put it back on her book shelf! The only comment I have is that this book is thinner than I expected. When I first received it, I felt that I paid too much for how thin and flimsy it seemed. However, over a short time I realized it was well worth the price and it was not flimay at all! I love the Indestructibles brand!!

I bought this for a five-month-old's first Christmas and was drawn in by the bold illustrations and "indestructible" promise. I was not prepared for how thin and flimsy the book feels and how few pages it has. It was hard for me, as an adult, to hang onto it, so there's little hope for the baby--even next Christmas when he is 1-1/2. This was supposed to be a gift, and now I have to buy something else to go with it. It's barely a card.

I think the only reason why this book is a "best seller" is because other customers see that label and purchase the book, which is what happened to me. The only thing this book has going for it is it boasts it's "chew proof, rip proof, nontoxic and 100% washable". We plan on returning the book so we won't find any of these things out. The book is absolutely paper thin and feels almost disposable, very cheap. It's about 10 pages (4 pages front and back plus the front and back cover), 3-5 word phrases on 8 pages and 30 words total. Also, I feel the photo is misleading because the book appears textured in some places (like the baby's hat on the front), but it is not.Edit: I have upgraded my previous review from 1 star to 2 stars. We attempted to return this item but were told to just keep it so we let our daughter play with it. While not great as a book, our daughter does like to crumple up and chew on the book, so it’s good for that. However, it does remain folded and crumpled up after use versus flattening back out well.2nd edit: We've used this book less than a week and the thread in the binding has come apart, so not even indestructible :-(

I was very pleased to find these indestructible books for babies. I was looking for the cloth books like the ones my kids had when they were little. I couldn't find anything & then I came upon these. They are everything that I wanted, and more! Yes, babies do chew on their books (and everything else) & they contain nothing harmful, can actually be washed in your washing machine and they are also made in the good old USA! A great product for a very reasonable price!

Our babies love these books! It’s nice to have a toddler-proof option on the shelf with the board books. I like their size and length and the colorful pictures/artwork. I also like how they provide the nursery rhyme on the back, in case you need a refresher. We originally got a couple as gifts, and I liked them so much I’ve added several more for our babies to enjoy!

This is a wonderful book. Perfect for babies and toddlers to read by themselves and to listen to. They can even read it while they are having their nappy changed as it is so light. Lots of Christmas vocabulary and very colourful illustrations. I would highly recommend it. My toddler loves.

More like a pamphlet than a book. Total waste of money.

Libricino di pochissime pagine, ma davvero indistruttibile. Le pagine sono sottili e con dei disegni grandi e molto carini e pochissimo testo. La mia bimba ci ha fatto di tutto e non si è strappato o scolorito neanche un po'

These books are great, 3 month old babies loves them. The colours and illustrations attract them. My friend's baby likes to hold them, suck on them, star at them, and the can be washed. The same comment is for all the books, will publish this comment for all of them

Adoro questi libri, ne ho diversi della stessa serie e li trovo davvero fantastici. Li porto sempre in borsa con me perché occupano pochissimo spazio e sono utili per distrarre il bimbo in caso di attese impreviste.
