I purchased this heat gun to help me replace the battery in my iPad mini 2. I attempted using my wife's hairdryer but it wasn't hot enough, this little beauty did the trick. I successfully replaced the battery without any problem. Well worth the money spent to complete my repairs.

DIY with this heat gun
Two settings worked great for the computer battery replacement we did. Used the heat gun to gently heat up the adhesive tape holding the back panel on. The nozzle tip helped focus the heat to the areas with tape. Would recommend to others. Smaller unit makes storage easy.

Affordable mini heat gun
It’s a cool mini heat gun and I like how quick it starts blowing hot air. Just plug it in, turn it on and it’s good to go. You also get to choose between two modes/temperatures so that’s nice.

Could be hotter.
Works just fine. Heat shrinks with sufficient precision. I wish it would get a little hotter but it does what I need it to do: heat shrink electrical connections in tight spaces.

Handy but loud
Inexpensive spare heat gun got me to buy. One of the most handy tools is a heat gun. This one is loud, when I tried it but seems to work fine. I also like that it uses less whats, my other one gets hot and worried about burning things so this one good for delicate applications.
