Excellent Carafe. Carafes well.
My husband isn't as big of a fan of this pot as I am. He says it's too tight in the maker, I like this one better than the one that came with our Hamilton coffee maker. I fits perfectly (it's so not too tight- he's just picky) - the bottom has that little base and it that fits perfectly in the coffee maker. The original carafe slid around, it felt flimsy and clumsy. This one feels thicker, harder to break, just really nice. It also comes with two tops and an extender piece so you can fit it perfectly into your coffee maker. The prices is also less than buying the replacement directly from Hamilton. And the shipping- well, Hamilton will charge you $15 (me anyway, we're on Long Island) for standard shipping which can take 4-6 weeks. 4-6 Weeks! That's insane. And if you want it faster, it's closer to $30-$45 depending on type of shipping. INSANITY! Medelco doesn't offer fast shipping either but we got the replacement less than 2 weeks after ordering which is way faster than Hamilton or anyone else for that matter. (why does it take forever to order a replacement carafe? Are they being hand-made to order? It's just weird.) We love our morning coffee and have a French press as well so we didn't go without. We love the French press, but you can't set a timer on it. Sometimes you just need a pot with a timer. Anyway- the shipping time is a little annoying. I did a lot of searching the day I broke our carafe, finding a replacement that will ship in a normal time frame is impossible unless you don't mind spending more on the shipping than the carafe. I mind. A lot.

Perfect fit, best value
We have a Black & Decker DCM2160B 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Black . Strangely, I recently broke the end of the plastic lid that snaps onto the carafe, but didn't break the glass carafe itself. So I called the customer service phone number I found in the manual for this coffee maker to get a replacement lid. I was shocked and nearly fainted when I heard that they wanted me to pay $15 for a cheap piece of nearly flat plastic. This entire coffee maker is selling for nearly $20 as I write this, so I was definitely looking for an alternative to a $15 plastic lid. I almost purchased a new coffee maker when I found this universal replacement carafe, which is a much better value, and actually cost me less than just a lid for the carafe I already had. The Medelco website lists this specific carafe next to the DCM2160B coffee maker, and it fits perfectly. It fits so well with the tall lid, which was already attached, that it looks and feels like it was made specifically for this coffee maker. Better yet, the pour spout is pointed, which allows the coffee to flow in a smaller stream into the cup, and the glass is curved to allow all the coffee to flow out. The carafe that originally came with this coffee maker has a large plastic ring around the top with an unusually wide spout. Also, the glass at the top is sealed into the plastic ring, which forms a lip around the top of the carafe, allowing an unusually large amount of coffee to be trapped and not flow into the cup. This also can make the carafe harder to clean,. This is not at all a problem with this replacement, which keeps all the extra plastic in the lid where it should be. Even better, the multiple lid choices will fit in other coffee makers as well, so it could be put into another coffee maker with minimal hassle, and it makes a good replacement if any other coffee maker needs a replacement carafe. I would highly recommend this for anything listed on the Medelco website, and it would probably fit others as well, as long as one of the 3 lid sizes is tall enough to push against the base of the filter basket where the pause and serve valve opens. The tall lid does this perfectly on the DCM2160b, exactly as good as the carafe that came with it originally.

Great fit for Black and Decker DCM2160R
It fits my coffeemaker perfectly and drips without causing spills or mess. I also like the fact that this carafe did not compromise volume, holding up to 12 cups just like the original did. My only complaint is about the design. After 2 months, one of the tiny rods on the lid hinge broke. Therefore, I guess that the other rod will break soon. I hope they can improve this design and fix this issue. Overall, I appreciate the fact that this carafe extended the life of my coffeemaker, it is difficult to find them in red nowadays.

Great replacement for Gevalia C-60A
We broke our carafe on our old Gevalia C-60A coffee maker. It's not a common model, and we almost bought a new coffee maker because of the hassle of finding a replacement. However, took a gamble and bought this carafe, though our model wasn't listed as working with this carafe - and it fits!!You'll need to use the short lid adapter, included in package. The fit was still a little tight, though workable - my husband got creative though, and shaved a millimeter off the top of the plastic lid with an exacto knife. Now it fits in place perfectly! Giving all 5 stars to product, though, since the company didn't advertise it as fitting our coffee maker and isn't responsible for our shenanigans with sharp pointy objects. Its dimensions are as follows: Height with Tall Lid: 6.63", Height with Short Lid: 6.01", Diameter of Pot: 5.98", Diamater of Base of Pot: 4". Check the product fit list on Medelco's website if you're not sure if your coffee pot will work with this model (can't post due to review guidelines, but it's easy to find via Google).

Fits great, glass seems very thin.
The glass seems thin compared to the original Bella Pro Carafe, I don't expect it to last long before someone breaks it. Other than that, it fits great and since Bella doesn't sell replacement carafes, it will do the job even if we have to buy two a year while it's time to replace the coffee maker.

Great Replacement
Make sure you take measurements, but this carafe is great. It comes with two kids to work at different heights. The top works with a variety of drip machines and it fits the hot plates perfectly. My only gripe is that the handle is made of a softer plastic, if it's going to break it will be the handle. Keeping that in mind it's a great replacement still.

Fits well doesn't have good thermal conductivity
Bought this as a replacement for my Hamilton, fits well with 2 cap options. Very good option and reasonable price. My only intake is that the coffee used to remain warmer in my old pot. Using this pot coffee is warm, but not as much as I'd like it to be.

Just as described!
Yeah it’s a little less quality then the one my husband broke but hey it’s cheap and works great!

Works sort of...
The craft itself is not really well made. Did not fit really well we had to remove the stopper in the Hamilton Beach in order to get the coffee to not over follow. But for the $ it works.

A Flimsy & Unsuitable Replacement
I rarely write reviews but my experience with this product makes me want to warn others.I bought it to replace the carafe on a Breville "YouBrew". Breville no longer makes replacement carafes available. While this item is not specifically supported as a Breville replacement, it does work just fine for that task. However, the unit is small and feels extremely flimsy. The glass is very thin, the handle is very cheap and doesn't have a circular lower support bracket, so I wouldn't carry a full carafe without some support underneath as it does feel like the handle would break off under any kind of weight. The cheap lid also pops off constantly and I suspect it will only last a few months before the support pins snap. The printed cup sizes on the carafe are a lot smaller than what the Breville produces, so I wouldn't rely on what your coffee maker states or you could have a flood on your hands.Probably the worst part is that it is so poorly designed, it is virtually impossible to pour a first cup without spilling coffee on the counter. You literally have to throw the coffee into the cup before it starts dripping ! (which I am almost always unsuccessful at doing)I would avoid this item for any coffee maker as it is a very limited life product. Look elsewhere for a more sturdy and suitable replacement - regardless of your brand of coffee maker.
