Weird bitter taste. I doubt it contains saffron.
This tea has a strange, bitter taste. I don't feel too well after I drink it. I am comparing this with my previous saffron tea, which was a Buddha Teas brand.With the Buddha brand you could actually taste the saffron in it and it had a pleasant taste and it immediately calmed down my digestive system and made me feel relaxed. It was really nice. But since they were sold out of the Buddha brand, I bought this one to try. I was very disappointed in the taste, and it seemed to have no positive effect on my digestive system. If anything it made me feel a bit sick.

I’m a tea drinker, and I had high hopes for this one. Taste is light but has a bit of a weird aftertaste. I normally don’t use any kind of sweetener for my teas, so I don’t know if that will help. I’m not sure if it’s the saffron that’s giving it an aftertaste but I’m definitely not liking it.
