Great value and nice looking door handles
Man, after reading some reviews I was second guessing my purchase. But I'm glad I went thru with it. These are very nice looking, very cheap compared to other brands, and relatively easy to install. Instructions are clear of you read them with a bit of attention. Flipping the handles is more of a technique rather that brute force. There's only one washer to look out for, and it goes between the handle casing and the lock knob (the washer goes out flying half the time when opening up the handle to flip them).Unlike a reviewer stated, the strike and latch plate ARE brushed nickel, that "peeling paint" is the protective plastic that you're supposed to peel off after installing it.Also unlike another reviewer, these will not take a chunk of your skin. Are you serious? To the reviewer that says these get "stuck". You probably put the latch plate at a slightly angle and this "kinks" the lock bolt. Happened to me because I did not properly square the hole (previous latch plate had rounded corners). The edges are a bit sharper than other handles I've seen, but I think it's a matter of getting used to it. The "sharper" contour gives it its own distinctive look. I replaced the old bronze kwikset with these, and it instantly gave the house a more modern look. This set comes with a little white plastic "box" that you can put between the strike plate and the trim, so you just see a clean white box thru the strike plate's hole, whereas our old knobs you just saw a hole in the trim. This is something I did not know I wanted. The latch plate assembly looks very clean now.I can't really speak for the "quality" of the handles, I mean I guess they could have a bit more heft to them? Or maybe I'm used to higher resistance when opening a door? You can very slightly rotate the handle without engaging the mechanism, but the kwikset also had that "slight give". I don't know. My wife looks at me weirdly as I've been closely judging "the feel" in the rotating motion of the handles everytime I open a door. I've also compared it to the door handles at friend's houses (where they all wonder what the heck I'm doing slowly turning their door handles). It's almost subjective. I mean for the price one would think they HAD to cut corners somewhere, so maybe the metal is less dense or whatever? Now that I'm "aware" of door handles, I'll be on the lookout next time I'm at Lowe's and compare "the feel" of the handles there. If there's legitimately a difference between these and the "higher quality" handles, then I might consider changing these for those (I'll be sure to report back on this comment).Regardless, for relatively little money I managed to change ALL the interior doors, bringing a substantial yet subtle upgrade to our house's interior look. The strike plate "white box" upgrade alone made it worth it if you ask me. To me that's exceptional VALUE.Edit: I checked the Kwikset equivalent to this one (model "Tustin") at Home depot and at a friend's apartment. The only noticeable difference, in my opinion, is the roundness. The kwikset is "rounder" when handling it, whereas this one is "sharp". They both seem to have the same level of "give" and the smoothness when rotating is equivalent. I really liked the design of the Kwikset "Balboa" however... But it's no way worth spending $150+ for them (especially since I have these already installed with squared latch plates). Door handles... Serious business.

Well-made, nice door handle upgrade to the house
These are well-made door handles that matched our new hardware. Simple to install and they look much better than our old contractor grade round door handles. Wife and very happy with the new look!Cheers,Danbo

Pros and cons
Pros. All the parts were there, including all the screws. The handles are heavy and nicely finished. Look nice installed and function properly.Cons. The flanges that go against the door are just slightly smaller than my previous hardware leaving a mark on the door from the old hardware. The striker plate is way below standard. It is thinner than most and has rough and sharp edges that can cut your fingers if not careful. I was careful. I used an emery board to knock off the very sharp burs. Aldo, the same holds true for the flange on the bolt. Switching the handles around for opposite swinging doors is a pain until you learn on the first one then it gets a lot easier. All in all, I am happy with the 9 passage door handles. Four out of five stars.

Functional and good price.
Appear well made and reversing handles for right or left doors was fairly easy once learned. Nice looking replacement for old brass handles. Price was awesome.

Looks Beautiful - Easy Installation
These are beautiful. Nicely made and recommend them. I did a bit different on the installation. My handles flip up vs flipping down. My hand does not slip off the handle with it pointing upward, especially when my hands are full and I need to open the door.

Difficult to reorient opening direction
The media could not be loaded. I bought both this privacy version and the plain one for closets and such that worked well. I was able to make the privacy handles work but not without frustration and had less than acceptable results. All were nice looking and sturdy and arrived quickly with good packaging. One issue with all the handles is the latch that goes into tho door is larger than the ones I replaced so I had to hammer them in place. Of course all the old ones had rounded corners so the new ones are not recessed properly on the door nor is striking plate on the jamb causing a less than perfect closing of the door. Luckily most of my doors are not so tight that they didn’t close and they look ok. I may chisel them out if I ever get around to painting the woodwork. The nice white plastic striking plate box insert is a great idea if I could use them in my round hole. I threw them away. It would be nice if the manufacturer provided both round and square ones or options at the time of purchase. Heck, leave them out and let me order the right one as I want the finished look and added strength. 🤷♀️The handles are very difficult to change from left to right opening and once you do they do not work smoothly. The pitiful tool called a hook spanner they provide to unlock the handle from the base was beyond difficult to use, was sharp, and hurt my hands. I have two privacy handles that catch and I gave up on trying to make them work smoothly. Fortunately those were both on spare bedrooms that are rarely used. This company should make them with left and right versions like they do for the closets so the consumer doesn’t have to spend excessive time without good results. In my hallway I have three rooms that need privacy and two I had to change the handle direction so that the lock was inside the room. Don’t get me started on trying to get the curves all up or down. All I can say is plan ahead and take these details into account. I didn’t and am sorry because I had to go back and change several. That said, they are reasonably priced so I am justifying my choice as being worth the trouble.I did finally get them all installed but all the handles in my master bedroom are curved down instead of up like they are throughout the rest of my house because I wanted them to work smoothly. Once I took others apart I was not able to make them operate smooth again so I left them oriented wrong. I am the only one who will notice and the only one that matters so they are going to stay that way.
