I bought this for a young guitarist friend who was moving to Hawaii, and wanted to experiment with a uke, and she loved it. Tight construction, and nicely finished, easily mistaken for a more expensive model from a short distance. The top is laminated (as you'd expect in this price range), but the tone is surprisingly good. The sound is sweet and strong, the intonation up the neck is good, and the instrument feels balanced.The preamp is nothing fancy, but noiseless and effective if you want to plug-in. And the built-in electronic tuner is nice addition. The accessories included are great for the beginner who may not have a lot of "stuff", and include a padded gig-bag, good strap, cord to plug-in, extra string set, and a polishing cloth. If they had thrown in a couple of picks and a chord sheet, you'd have everything you needed to get on your way to being the next Tiny Tim. :)My only hesitation -- and it was slight -- concerns the name. This is a Chinese brand, and apparently they are under the impression that "Kaka" has something to do with Hawaiian royalty, and weren't aware that it can have quite another meaning to the English-speaking world. Well, these things happen, and US companies have also made their share of amusing gaffs translating their ad copy into Chinese. That aside, this is a nice, good-sounding, very playable, and very presentable instrument, that I don't hesitate to recommend for either the beginner, or the early intermediate player who may already have a soprano and be looking for a "concert" model.Well done. Now, if they'd just reconsider the name . . .

I did a lot of research to find the concert acoustic-electric ukulele for me, and this fits just perfect! The sound (both acoustic and through my amp) sounds great! The concert uke is bigger than my soprano uke, and it has a bigger, more fuller sound. The strings have held their tuning well. The strap is a nice feature, as I'm a music teacher and when I'm walking around the classroom, I can help another student without having to set my instrument down on a table. The 1/4 inch cable that comes with it should be plenty long enough for most players, with an amp sitting close by. This is a uke that looks and sounds great. You won't be disappointed.

The bridge and strings were off center and seemed tacky, but it sounded pretty good.

The Ukulele is not size concert, It doesn't have the dimensions in the descriptions 25.6 x 4.7 x 9.1 inches . The uke is size soprano, the large is 21 inches. I already have a soprano ukulele , and i wanted a concert ukulele , i am very dissapointed

Cool product, but it didn't come with spare strings as advertised, plus it came late. Overall cool package though.
