For the price point this product totally exceeded my expectations. Based on the previous reviews, I was a bit skeptical and i thought the magnet will not be strong enough to hold the two piece together on my double glazed windows, but it did. It maybe fell once or twice , when i was moving too fast.I was also fearing major streaks or a messy window, but to my surprise, it actually did a fairly good job even in the hard to access corners, due to its angled shape.Finally, since the device cleans both interior and exterior at the same time, it was an incredibly time efficient process. It took me less than an hour to clean 5 windows, from which 4 was impossible to access from outside without professional cleaners. Obviously, it is insufficient to remove old pollution stains, corrosion haze and cloudiness, but if you live in a prewar NYC apt, this is a great tool to maintain your windows clean .

My double pane windows are less than the 1" spec and it falls off as soon as I try to move it. I lubricated the glass and the pads as directed. These are the stronger red version. Works well on my thinner shower door. Just not strong enough for double pane.

I'm glad I found this product. I live in a 3rd floor condo and have never been able to clean the windows on the side of the building since I couldn't reach it. Our HOA doesn't clean the building windows and I assume because I live in California and there's a drought. This works really well, but I wish the pads could've been black or some darker color so the dirt isn't so obvious. My windows were really dirty and no matter how much I washed the pads afterwards, some dirt was permanently caked on there. And others have mentioned, be VERY, VERY CAREFUL because the magnets are strong. If your finger is in the middle while the 2 pieces are in close proximity, it could snap a fingernail off or break a finger.I knocked off a star because I couldn't find replacement pads for these on Amazon if I ever needed them in the future. I can only imagine how filthy these things will get after a year.

The magnets are STRONG. Like, so strong you can hurt your hand if you put it in between the things.They need to be strong, of course, to work with double-paned windows, but I would be genuinely worried these might break the glass if you're not careful with them.Unfortunately, I realized only after the things arrived that they wouldn't work for my setup, because my windows slide outwards, and I wouldn't be able to reach the outside to place them if the window open. I guess I should have thought of that before ordering.I think I'll keep these as toys.

Delivery took a month; albeit, I ordered it before the holidays.Upon receiving and opening, was surprised by the sheer amount of force needed to separate the two pieces. This leads me to believe misuse can lead to (weaker/thinner) windows cracking or even shattering.You must untie the rope that is attached to one of the pieces (as seen in the picture). Upon unwravelling (which takes 3-4 minutes due to knotting) I noticed that the rope was already starting the break apart.After all, I decided to try carefully it out. After one go I decided not to continue because the risk was too high that misuse may cause damage to my window. As suspected, the magnets were strong enough to make me fear it could cause damage.It may, however, work well with stronger windows (i.e. high rises) but wouldn't recommend for typical house windows. Do note that the cleaning pads are loose on each piece and made of cotton that tends to shed and lint (visible upon unwrapping).

I have been looking for window cleaning (NYC high-rise) solution for quite a while. I tried a telescope squeegee but it's just not cutting it. I am very glad I found this product.After reading all the reviews, I went for the "red" model, which is the stronger one. I do have to say it is very strong magnet, so be careful. If you have the two piece stuck directly to each other without glass or plastic in the middle, it takes some force to separate them (I had to ask my boyfriend to lend me muscle). But it is no problem at all as long as you have something in between.With cleaning, one review mentioned to remove the rubber squeegee on the first run. I agreed, especially if you have dirty windows that you really need to rinse first. Another trick I learned is to make the window super WET and covered in mist on BOTH sides. If you don't do this, it's a little drag-gy to move the magnet and the outside piece will keep falling. Definitely use the string the secure it on you, I dropped it so many time until I "get it".A good window cleaner is probably gonna help too. Avoid those will leave streaks.The only thing the product (or I) can improve is probably the corners. I ended up hand cleaning this part since I can reach it. And just be mindful while you use this. It is pretty strong magnet.Last but not the least, find a YouTube video for a quick tutorial before you start. It helps.

The cleaning pad is very small, so for a normal window pane, you need to pull it back and forth across the window a dozen times, and the pad gets filthy after cleaning a single pane. (They include just one replacement pad.) You need to pull it slowly so that it doesn't lose the magnetic connection, and so cleaning just a single pane takes a LONG time. Which would be okay if the end result is any good, but it leaves huge streaks all over the window. It looked better before I cleaned it.
