So far this thing hade been traveling with me while hiking for abt 50ish miles this is including shooting and camping things as well and it’s held up so far. Headband is comfy and sometimes I can forget I’m even wearing the thing if I have a hat on

HEADLAMP IS JUST WHAT I NEED
Use the headlamp for night fishing where turning on a white light will get you shot. The red lens is perfect and with three settings provides all the light necessary.

I like the fact that it has an option to set the brightness and different lens comes with it. I think that’s pretty cool.

Awsome Headlamp
I use mine every night to go from the tents to the latrines. Love the simplicity of the red lens cover. Easy to use. Good on batteries. Comfortable elastic headband. Button is tough to push...might be difficult with gloved hands (don't know, haven't tried) ...but it has never accidentally turned on in my pack either! Also the battery compartment has a thumb screw which is a great idea. 3 ascending light settings and strobe!This is actually my second unit. The first arrived non functional right out of the box. Princeton Tec did replace it but not in the color I had sent them. I have had other PT lights for years. Made well and MADE IN THE USA.

Durable
The headlamp is extremely durable. Works great even after accidentaly sending it through a full laundry cycle in a washer and dryer!

Military Use
I just got off a exercise where I used this headlamp exclusively.Pros: light never fades, it's regular brightness till it dies.Flip the gate to engage colour.Comes with blue and green lenses you can install.Never mistakenly turn on a white light.Excellent white light.Cons: since it uses a lens, the red light is significantly worse. Even on high setting side by side to other headlamps it was noticeably lacking.With that being said, it's still more then useable, but my next purchase will be a headlamp with a red led instead of lens.
