Thin lotion with excessively heavy scent
This body lotion is not for me. The scent is overpowering and the texture is thin and runny. There seems to be some fascination with different oils from various and novel plants. I'm not sure that getting a lotion's oil from avocado is better than from walnuts or mineral oil for that matter. The high cost is sort of the final nail for me. Like most cosmetics products, the price has little to do with the quality or value.

Nice lotion, but pricey
I've been using this lotion for some time, having seen, and ordered it off my Amazon Vine listing. As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I am offered new-to-market products, if I want them, at no cost to me, in exchange for an honest, objective, and comprehensive review.I have very dry hands and skin, worse in the winter. I have found Jojoba oil to work really well and is extremely economical. Just 4 drops will work on each leg or hands/arms. I thought I'd try this as it contains Jojoba oil as well as Aloe Vera and Avocado oil.It is white, rather runny and has a strong but pleasant scent. I don't find it too strong smelling as others have mentioned. I can only smell it if I put my nose within 6 inches or so of my hands, for example, and that diminishes over time. It is noticeable though and may conflict with any perfume or cologne. In comparison, my go-to Jojoba oil leaves the skin similarly moisturized, but with no noticeable smell.I expected my hands to be somewhat wet and greasy after applying this thin lotion, based on my first impressions, but keep rubbing it in for about a minute and it absorbs fully, leaving the skin feeling nice and moisturized with a slight sheen, but no greasiness. Very similar to the Jojoba oil, which goes on oily, but quickly absorbs. I do seem to have to apply more of this lotion though. I have found that lightly washing my hands seems to remove the effect of the lotion more than with the Jojoba oil, but only just.My wife doesn't like the lotion at all. She thinks it's too greasy. I think she expects to just lightly rub it in and be done. So, as with many things, you may love it or hate it depending on your expectations. The list of ingredients is extensive for this lotion and I much prefer the very short "100% natural organic Jojoba oil" listing on my Jojoba oil!Overall, I'm okay this lotion, but will be sticking with my Jojoba oil. The primary reasons are twofold; the scent, previously mentioned, and the price. The Jojoba oil I usually buy is $15 for 8 floz. It goes a long way since I can dispense it drop by drop via the flip-up cap. This lotion is $20 for 10 floz, but I'm probably using two to three times as much due to the pump mechanism and to get the same moisturizing effect throughout the day.I hope my review helped you with your purchase decision.

Has Fragrance, to me it's a bit strong
I like the fragrance (how it smells), just not how strong it is, a lot less scent would be nice. Not something I could wear all over as I'd end up with a headache from the scent. It is a bit thin and feels more like a liquid oil base than a solid oil - like Shea Butter. And of course Avocado oil is a thin one, so I did expect this texture to the lotion. Goes on really wet, but most of it absorbs quickly, yet leaves a light oily film that takes a bit of time to finish soaking in. Feels great on dry ruff skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. Washes off completely when washing your hands so need to reapply each time you wash. (I have a lotion that doesn't completely wash off each time and love it - but it too is very expensive!) I wouldn't use this if I were in a hurry and didn't want to leave oily finger prints all over, like on my phone or door knobs. The ingredients list is longer than I expected and what are Permitted Colors? That's a new term to me. Still not as many ingredients as most products on the market, but I still favor my coconut oil lotion with only 3 all natural ingredients, but it too take time for the last bit of oil to soak in. I'm looking for a truly fast lotion that I can apply and it only take a minute or two to soak in. I have some but it's almost gone and no longer sold :(

Strong fragrance which I love!
It seems like my skin is always dry so I’m always looking for nice new products that may work better than what I’ve used before. I’m very impressed with this product. First of all as many reviewer‘s have stated it does have a nice strong fragrance. Some may find this to be a drawback. I personally really enjoy the fragrance of this product. To me it has just the right amount. Each person‘s preference will be different. Now as far as how well this product works, for me personally, it’s working great. It seems to absorb into my skin fairly quickly, however, it is a little oily to begin with. This is not a bad thing as that’s what my skin is needing. Decent size bottle that should last a while. Does not take much lotion for my hands. It seems to go a long ways. Love the ingredients that they have put in this product. About the only thing I’m not crazy about is the price tag. I don’t mind paying for quality but this one personally is a little bit out of my price range. Would definitely buy again if the price drops. If you can afford it, give it a try. I think you may enjoy it if you’re not one that a strong scent would bother too much.
