I normally don't leave reviews but considering I almost didn't buy this cabinet because of the mixed reviews, I thought I better leave one. While yes, it was a lot to put together, the instructions were good and everything was very organized. Definitely do yourself a favor and take some time to take all the pieces out, sort them, and read through the instructions. I only had one piece broken but it was just one of the plastic file edges. Overall it seems well made and sturdy. I love how it turned out and my cats are also big fans of the new bed they got!

Its a nice cabinet, Assembly took me 3 hours, and I'm a mechanic. Parts of the instructions were missing, so I had to figure it out on my own. One key was broken, the keys are very cheep! Now that its finished I like it. I'm glad I don't live on the 2nd floor, cut the box was very heavy!

Received Wood Office Storage File Cabinet on time. It wasn't easy to build too a long time. The finished product was top quality and extremely sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice-looking locked file cabinet. I personally will be purchasing it again soon to replace another ugly steel filing cabinet we have now.

Very sturdy and good looking. Assembly was a bear (took 4.5 hours), but the result was worth it.

This cabinet was hard to put together, the locking device did not work once it was installed, it is not worth all the money and the delivery driver left it on the bottom of the stairs for anyone to see and take. I live on the second floor. I would send it back but it not possible. Very very disappointed in this product. So it does not lock and the instructions were not clear….

*UPDATE*I was contacted by customer service and they provided me with a YouTube video showing that the parts that I believed to be missing were actually attached to another part. There were zero indicators that the parts were combined into one, and that it was left up to the customer to figure that out. I have completed assembly but I am not happy with how difficult it was to put together or for the lack of clear instructions.Item arrived in a timely fashion but after unboxing and beginning assembly, I noticed that crucial parts were missing. I scoured the box for them but they are no where. Without them, the drawer cannot be completed. Contacted seller for assistance.

I read the reviews and noticed several people were having issues with putting this item together. My wife gave up after 10 minutes. It is a very tedious process with several pieces. If you are impatient, this project is not for you! Once you get started it’s not too bad. The parts were properly labeled which helped out alot! Please follow all instructions and use the tools that they provide! Do not try to be high speed and use a drill. You will definitely cause some damage. Follow the instructions, follow the instructions. That’s the most important message I can provide. It works great. The drawers are actually larger than I thought. The spacers that they provide don’t work to great. You will need to buy those separately if needed. It’s pretty sturdy and the lock works well. Looks great in my office. Have fun putting it together!

So many issues with this. First, the instruction manual they provide in the box is wrong. If you inquire, they’ll tell you they have an updated one. (Read: they know there is an incorrect instruction guide but still ship the product anyway). They’ll send you a digital copy of the manual to read on your phone or computer when assembling, which is a pain. Second, the material is all dinged up with chipped paint and scratched wood. It’s not meant to be high-quality, but it’s beat up upon arrival and makes IKEA look glamorous. Third, their customer service is obnoxious and difficult to decipher (emails/messages).Cut your losses and find something else. I ended up trashing mine … the money wasn’t worth dealing with their customer service.
