Good for emergency
These candles do work wonderfully. We've used them 2 or 3 times now and they last a long time. I light all 3 wicks at a time, I like to see what I'm doing. 1 wick lit works in areas that you don't need to see what's going on, just some filtered light. Some of these have lasted 20+ hours and they haven't burned out yet.I came back to order more but If this is correct, $10 for 1 candle? I got 4 candles for less than that last year? I'll look other places for something similar, $10 for 1 of these is ridiculous. Maybe the price went up due to everyone giving it positive reviews...my guess anyway.

Perfect Burning Candle
For anyone who needs a long burning candle, this candle burns evenly and for longer than the advertised time. Buy it!!

Ok
When my candles arrived....one came without a lid. These candles also have a scent....not unscented. 3 smells almost like citronella while the other one smells like vanilla.

It worked
It’s an emergency candle. We had an emergency (power outage) and we lit the candle. It burned. That’s what they said it would do, and that’s what it did. When I first bought it I opened it and made sure the wicks were spaced well enough and were trimmed correctly, then it sat on a shelf for a long time.To the review that mentioned there was a layer of melted wax on the candle when it was lit, buddy that’s how candles work. This isn’t a taper or pillar candle, it’s wax in a jar. The liquid layer is actually part of the burning process. The wax will heat up, melt, and then solidify when you blow it out. You will only spill it if you move the candle, so just leave it alone and don’t touch it. Can’t believe there was a review knocking the product for how it’s supposed to work.

They work, but not as well as advertised.
These work pretty good, but let's be clear, you're never going to get 36 hours out of one. You're supposed to get 12 hours with all 3 wicks burning. And there's certainly enough wax in there to make that happen. The trouble is, after about 6-8 hours when the wax turns complete liquid, the wicks just fall into the wax and the flame goes out. Still, not bad in an emergency. I even managed to do use one of these in a camping stove to warm up some food when the power was out. I don't think you could cook anything that requires reaching boiling or high temperatures, though.
