S.H.Figuarts - Black Panther (Tamashii Web Exclusive)

Another great release from S.H. Figuarts, this Black Panther is pretty fantastic. Sure it’s a bit limited in articulation in the elbow region as well as the knee area which sucks for a guy in a Cat suit, you’d expect this to have a huge range of motion. And this is a web exclusive for Tamashii Nation’s so it’s limited and more expensive than normal releases, doesn’t even come with an unmasked head or anything. I’d have liked an unmasked T’Challa head. But aside from those few small gripes this figure is amazing. The level of sculpt working and detailing on the entire suit is super nice, one of the nicest sculpts for a figure I’ve seen.So what’s in the box? (Not much, but almost everything you’d want)Black PantherFists L/ROpen hands L/RAction scratchy hands L/RSo not much in the box, like I said it’s a bummer we didn’t get an unmasked alternate head, also kinda bummed none of the hands have more pronounced claws. Aside from what seems like a lot of nit picking, I love this figure. I had a lot of fun posing him and taking pictures, the level of sculpted detail all over is kinda unrivaled, this is just a really impressive figure. If you have gotten any of the Marvel S.H. Figuarts figures this pairs really nicely with them. If you can get this figure for a reasonable price ($80 or so) don’t skip on getting it. I ended up passing on the Black Widow and cancelled the upcoming Hawkeye figures but am really glad I kept this order because this is really an impressive figure and easily the best Black Panther figure in this scale you can buy. This figure comes FULLY APPROVED.

Could have been done a wee bit better but happy to add this figure to my SHF collection. My main issues are really just the style of hip joints they used and that they don't allow for the greatest range of motion nor do they allow for many good crouching positions. Still, he's pretty cool on a flight stand or in a dynamic fight pose with another character. I did see reviewers on YouTube saying that this figure has no claws but that is not true. They are just blind and don't see the claws on top of the hands that, you know, look like they'd have claws on them. A worthy addition and the sculpt is very very nice and clean.

Figure came in perfect shape, packaging unharmed. I love the s h figuarts like. I have several items from them. Black panther is among the simplest. It's just him and a couple pairs of extra hands. But the figure is amazing and absolutely the quality you would exoect. Marvel prices be damned, if you're a fan of the cinematic black panther, add one of these to the collection!

This figure is already ridiculously priced making it easy for you to get swindled out of your money. I recieved my package just recently only to open first a non new box and what the seller put inside was...custom painted vegeta faces. I laughed because I got duped, but I was super furious getting swindled out of 200 bucks. Don't get me wrong still getting this figure again though it looks amazing
