These are more than just a stick you can use above a campfire. They are more than long enough to keep you safe and comfortable from the fire as your food is roasting away on the other end. Yet, they are compact enough to easily be carried in the nice bag they provided with them. There are many (8) of these sticks in the bag so a lot of people can participate at one time. Even better is that they each have their own color bands on them, so you can remember which one was yours, and not pick up the wrong one. They are light weight, but they do fine with most items you will out on the end. If you need them to be stronger, just collapse down the last joint. It will be shorter but still long enough, but much stronger. The handle is a decent wood, which is easy to hold, and probably adds a bit of cooling ability to the metal stick.

These are nicely made and finished. The handles appear to be some sort of smooth, coated wood, with a color-coded plastic ring attached. The "wand" part is chrome-plated steel, and telescopes like a radio antenna. The forked tips are cut flat for safety, not ground to a sharp point. Due to the wood handles and telescoping parts, I would not recommend placing them in the dishwasher; just burn off the marshmallow goop and hand-wash if desired. There are a couple of amusing "English as a second language" typos on the packaging. One chuckle-inducing typo is the phrase "32' TELESCOPING FORKS". You'd need a flatbed truck to deliver eight, thirty-two-foot forks.Whoever posted that the forks don't rotate makes me wonder, what did you think; that they come with little electric motors? You simply twirl it with your fingers.Now that you have s'more s'more roasters, get out there and have s'more s'mores!

These work great for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs over our camp fire. The handles extend out and are very sturdy when cooking over the fire. The kids love they have there own stick and can choice there favorite color. Easy to clean and stores great in the carrying pouch that comes with them.

The media could not be loaded.  These are advertised as a rotating roaster. They are in fact not what they seem. If you don’t know the originals you don’t know what you are missing and these are just like any other roaster out there. On the original Rolla Roasters, which these are copying, the plastic knob and fork rotate independently from the wood handle which is admittedly not necessary for roasting marshmallows but is incredibly convenient. These do not rotate independently. The handle is all one piece same as you would expect any other roaster to be. The other big difference is at the tip. The original Rolla Roaster has a solid stainless steel rod for the first 7 inches of the telescoping rod. These Aoocan roasters are hollow all the way up to where the fork starts. I haven’t tried them yet but that seems incredibly week. When that tiny hollow tube gets hot from the fire it will collapse and bend very easily as seen in other reviews.

BEWARE. These do not rotate. Both the Amazon description and the box they arrived in state that these are "rotating" marshmallow sticks. But as a couple other reviews (that I didn't read prior to purchasing) mention, the telescoping wand is glued to the handle and does not rotate.They are in other respects decently made--so I gave them two stars instead of just one. But they are being falsely advertised. I have other marshmallow sticks that can be rotated with your thumb and that is what I expected with these.The description should be changed to remove any reference to rotating.Wish I would have looked at the Q&A instead of just relying on the description / review score. These do not rotate as described on the Amazon listing AND the packaging, the metal is glued into the wooden handle preventing them from rotating. So bummed, have an ancient pair of rotating ones we we're trying to rplace, but these are stationary skewers. Description should be updated to indicate that these are simply expandable, NOT rotating.

I love these marshmallow roasting sticks, so glad I found these! They come in a pack of 8, all marked with different colors so you can differentiate who is using which roasting stick (great touch). It's neatly packed into a carrying case that I find helpful, since I'd want to take them camping. They're all fully extendable (they call it "telescoping" I guess, because the pieces fit into each other like a telescope when it's not extended) up to what feels like a yard (product says 32 inches), which is necessary since you don't want to burn your hands while you're roasting anything. The tip is two-pronged, which is good for keeping whatever you're roasting stable and on your stick, not falling into the fire!

Received Friday, it’s now Saturday and they are all in pieces. They all broke so easily. You pull the stick out and they fall apart. Junk.I only gave it two stars because it came in a carrying bag and they looked good upon opening but they lasted 24hours

We Already Had like 5 of another kind.. but we were throwing my daughter a 10th birthday glow party and the finale was a bonfire in our backyard. We Were Set To Have Like 24 kids so I needed to add more roasting sticks to the Rotation! These Are Super Cute And Colorful. They Extend of Course.. and I love how they come in a nice and durable cloth bag to store them in! Wish The First Set Came With That.
