The Keeper Prophecy (The Amarin Series Book 1)

Miss Julia Laurell's is breath taking in every sense. I was blown away by the story line and the characters. I would fully recommend this book to all of my friends and family- And I have.The story follows a boy, Rylan, on his quest to fulfill a prophecy and save his home with the help of his newly found friends and his new fauna, a green Fur Dragon named Kadir. The quirky band of misfits create a fun and adventurous book. Perfect for ages 8 and up. But that's not all, the story tells lessons almost everyone has heard before but in a new light- But I won't ruin the book for you. I will most certainly be looking for Miss Laurell's next book. Personally, I can not wait to see more from this young girl.

I have no words. This book was better than I had originally thought! Everything was done in such detail that it felt like you were there, fighting the Kazens' alongside The Dragon Keepers. The characters' had depth and you could feel the emotion pouring from the pages. I was also very impressed by the way Julia managed to include Jesus as the High King in such a novel. Dragons and God aren't usually in the same genre, which makes this a one-of-a-kind novel. The only book I can compare it to is The Narnia Series. If you are thinking of reading this, you should! It will leave you hungry for more of Amarin. Waiting for book 2!

Impressive book by such a young author. The characters are fun and full of attitude. This is well-written and has a good message.

My kids can't put this book down. They've read it cover to cover multiple times and lent it out to so many friends who have bought their own copies after reading it. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
