Mike’s Hot Honey Snack Peak Variety Gift Box – Hot and Extra Hot

My daughter got me introduced me to Mike's Hot Honey several years ago and I have been an absolute fan ever since. If you want to add a little (or a lot) of heat this honey goes well in and on everything-- tea, granola, yogurt, fruit, pancakes/waffles, and if you haven't tried it on pizza you are totally missing out!

Have enjoyed the Hot Honey Infused with Chilies and the Hot Honey Extra Hot. Both add a pleasant change of or an addition to the flavor of the food. The Infused with Chilies I found, surprisingly, not very hot. Yes, there was some heat, but at least not what I expected. The Extra Hot was more to my liking, although, it, too, was not overly hot. I've squeezed both on corn bread, pizza and assorted other foods, enhancing the flavors of all. Obviously, pepper heat is an individual taste, often acquired. I am not a fan of the exceedingly hot peppers, such as Ghost or Habanero, although he latter I can enjoy in a very limited amount. As a reference, the pepper heat in both of these does not even come close to Ghost or Habanero or the hotter varieties of jalapeno. Regardless of your disposition toward pepper heat, I doubt seriously you could go wrong with the Infused with Chilies Hot Honey should your taste buds lean toward less "heat."

It’s just so damn good….

This caught me off guard. I LOVE the original and thought some extra heat would be great. I licked the little foil cover and thought I would scream. I've had lots of hot sauces and usually there is a slow burn where there's good flavor and builds up the heat. This jumps straight to extreme heat and you lose any flavor. I'm doing some research to figure out how to use it (I bought the two pack).I'm still a big fan, just be careful with this!

Omg. Bought to give to a friend for a present and had to immediately buy another for my husband. Great honey. We use it when we make homemade pizzas and chicken wings. So addicting.
