Purchasing this hat was a stretch for me, $54 I think, but I did it because I'm sick of cheap hats that fall flat or only last one season. I wanted to see what a $50 hat could do for me. I am more than pleased because not only is it adjustable around your head (drawstrings make it tighter or looser) but you can wear it 2 different ways. You can curl up the sides cowgirl style, or you can flatten the sides for a poolside look. The hat keeps its shape well no matter how you bend it, yet it is not stiff. How'd they do that? I'm excited to bring this hat to Vegas and pair it with an animal print top and teal blue shoes of the same color. So glad I didn't pass this up, great hat!

Ordered 3 different hats for my Caribbean vacation and kept this one. It was very comfortable and shape-able. One day I wore it as a high rolled up cowboy hat at the beach and another day I shaped it into a nice traditional pool hat. Worth the price. Travels wells.

Brown color a bit more green-brown hued than expected, but overall I am pleased. The adjustable band makes the fit custom, but be aware that it will also leave a ridge in your forehead-any of Wallaroo styles will do this, a small price to pay for keeping the hat on the head, in my opinion!I chose this because my old western straw had a pretty narrow brim and although I didn't want a huge brim, more was what I got with this hat. Love the turquoise colored wood beads on the trim, too.

Just received this hat today and it's even better than I expected! I ordered this to wear to a country music festival and wanted something that shaded my face but was also packable. You can easily pack this hat without it losing its shape and the wire brim allows you to reshape it easily depending on the angle of the sun. Overall I'd say it's a larger fit but that works for me and if you have a smaller head you can just adjust the drawstring accordingly. Just a really good looking, well made hat overall. Highly recommend!

I own several Wallaroo hats. This one is pretty cool as the brim is wired so you can change the look of the hat just by manipulating it in different ways. The beads and rope give it a great touch. It is adjustable also. If you ever want to know how to pack any of the Wallaroo hats go online to YouTube the company gives you instructions. Hats are light yet protect from the sun! Highly recommend.

I love the color. I never look good in hats that are lighter in color.The fit is awesome because it is adjustable and hidden in the band inside the hat.I love the whimsy details on it and honestly, I thought...well it has a better shape than most straw hats.Wrong. The shape is great. It's a little western ish looking but who cares. It fits. It wears well and the color is subdued.

Cute hat. Loved the blue denim color. This hat was way too big for me. I could adjust the inside fit with the drawstring but no matter how I tried to adjust the brim with the floppy wire that was in there it looked ridiculous on me. I returned it. The other part of my order was a black Walleroo Hannah raffia cowboy hat which in the description it said it was a petite style. That one fit great. The cut and style of the Hannah cowboy hat is a lot different from the Catalina cowboy style. It looked really nice on me so I kept the Hannah.

This hat is a bit too tall to be attractive on me. It would probably look better on someone with a shorter face. I also can't seem to make the wire rim be anything other than ridiculously wavy. Maybe someone with more hat skills could shape it appropriately. The color of the hat is lovely. I wish it were more attractive on my head.

Wallaroo hats are brilliant. This is my second, the first went all the way to Australia. This is for kayaking in the UK and I'm sure it will look good and be very comfortable.

Loved the style, colour and feel of this hat. Adjustable size so hair up or down it fits well. Have seen very similar hats for more money.
