Cheap plastic but works
I recently purchased a USB C to USB adapter and was disappointed to find that it arrived in a damaged condition. However, when I requested a replacement, the second adapter arrived in perfect condition, albeit in a bright red color. While it gets the job done, I was disappointed with the cheap plastic material and the high price. Overall, the adapter is functional but not worth the cost in my opinion. I would not repurchase due to the poor quality.

Charges very slowly
It charges devices very very slowly. I used the same charger first with a USB A (male) to USB C (male) cable, and then compared with this adaptor and original cables for Pixel and iPod touch.The charging rate with this adaptor was much much slower (took 2x-3x more time).Also (don't know if this is relevant/important) the USB C (male) of my cables does not fully enter the USB C (female) port of this adaptor.

Little disappointed.. didn't solve my purpose
This USB C to USB adapter CANNOT send HDMI, VGA or other audio & video signals. I purchased it to connect my laptop to monitor. My laptop wasn't having type C port and couldn't find a VGA/HDMI adapter which can connect through USB port.
