Neat bit of kit
Purchased for short trips away from home to ensure my betta fish doesn't go hungry.A little fiddly to fill and close the dispensing ball and I have had to try out various betta pellet sizes to see which work best. A sample packet of Zoo Med Micro floating betta pellets arrived with the feeder (plus a sachet of water conditioner... nice!) The pellets provided seem a little too big for the scoop part of the dispenser, but there is a small plastic tag that can be snapped off to allow the feeder to scoop up the bigger pellets more easily.Smaller pellets (such as Betta Bio-Gold) seem to be scooped up more readily, but I think using these may result in over feeding over long periods.Please note, I don't think this feeder is suitable for flake food.The expanding "bowl adapter" (included) is an excellent idea. Will fit right across smaller bowls, but for my Marina 360, I fix it on to the central light bar. With a bit of fiddling, you can ensure that that the pellets dispense into the water through the open part of the aquarium lid.

No, better look somewhere else.
... It seemed to have done the trick while on vacation, but the food ended up everywhere on the desk. (Used with Fluval Chi)Hard to control, setup and overall very flimsy made. Not happy with this product at all.

don't buy. looks good idea on paper but not proper testing done to make the product work
the feeder does not work automatically. its basically a feeder attached to a clock. It rotates but the feeder does not collect the pellets in the cone shaped opening. if you manually try to shake it a bit then it works. not enough testing is done to make the shape of feeder such that it can work in a predictable fashion, may or may not work if decide to purchase. Also be wary of trying it out as this item though on amazon prime is not eligible for return. You might get a good piece if you are lucky. But if not, you are stuck with it.

Mieux que rien
Ce distributeur a une distribution de petites billes pour betta plus que fantaisiste (au passage aliment non fournies contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans le descriptif). Ça marche avec Attison’s Betta pour ma part mais c’est Max 2 ou 3 par jour (Je vais faire une tentative « à suivre » en en mettant plus dans le récipient…).A noter aussi que le récipient est très fragile (s’ouvre délicatement avec un ongle entre les deux parties).Du coup, compte tenu de la fragilité et de la distribution pour le moins chaotique, privilégier une utilisation occasionnelle comme pendant des vacances.
