Best AR 670-1 Barefoot Style Boot on the Market
In the last few years I've switched to barefoot style shoes and it's helped immensely with back, knee, and ankle pain from 20 years of wear and tear from the Army. It's been difficult to find combat boots that don't feel like they're smashing my toes together. I've tried different boots from Danner, Belleville, Oakley, GoRuck, Rocky, 5.11, Tactical Research, Cocoran, Bates, Viktos, and Altama. None of them quite worked.Belleville's mini mils were great, but the soles were so thin that a small pebble in the right place caused a lot of pain. Good for around the office but not for rough terrain and long distance rucking.Nike boots gave me my fastest times on Rucks, were incredibly comfortable, but their shape could put pressure on the pinky toe and they had a raised heel which was going against what I was looking for. That brings me to the Reeboks. A zero drop heel with a wide toe box and just enough cushioning so you can operate on rough terrain without wincing in pain from a small rock. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. Even better, they are AR 670-1 compliant! I haven't tried them on long and heavy trucks yet, but I have done a lot of moving in full kit and they felt amazing. I am guessing they will do great for rucking.A boot like this could help save you a lot of pain later in life.I wear an 11 in Xero Shoes which fit perfectly. For the Reeboks I had to get an 11W to fit perfectly.

What can I say?...
Lets start with the backstory; I just recently bought these and only had them for about a week. They are currently my everyday wears now since I bought these to replace and to substitute out for my Bellville C320 Ultra light assult boots. Ive had those for about 2 years now and continue to go strong. I've seen the Bellville Mini Mills and been wanting something similar to that style so I came across these.Looks: Remind me of a cross between Danners, Bellville across the annkle and sides.Pros: Super lightweight, comfortable, quality feel and look. I have yet to test them yet in the field but just walking across rock and such they are comfortable.Cons: The laces that come with it are thin and weak. The support compared to my Bellville around my ankles arnt the best unless I really sinch them down. When putting them on i really have to loosen the front metatarsal area in order for me to put them on or else I struggle to put them on compared to my Bellvilles.Overall: I think they are a good boot and looking foward to wearing them more. The comfort on these are great. Make sure you buy a new pair of laces on these and be prepared to really sinche these down for the support on the ankles. When doing so they do offer good support. I think when the time comes I think i shall buy these again.

Great 👍
I know these are not zero drop, despite wishing wearing zero drop shoes for 4 years now, i wanted to slowly ease into boots, so these for the bill. They are comfortable. I do plan on purchasing true zero drop boots, these are great.

Great boot for some things
Like others have said, this is not a super supportive boot, however, its a great boot for running lifting, or just wearing around. I think these run tru to length, but a little wide. For me they broke in after a day or so and are very comfortable. For reference Im fairly flat footed and can wear normal width but prefer wide. With these I prefer normal width (I tried both). I love close to zero drop shoes and these are pretty darn close to flat. If your familiar with the Reebok nano 2 crossfit shoes, these have a little bit nicer insole.

Infantry
From an infantry standpoint it’s just not a great boot. It’s actually awful. The material, feel, the fit just so bad. Wasted my money on something that feels thrown together. Spend the money on a danner like I should have

Perfect
Returned bc my SIL decided he would be issued boots in AF. They were of good quality and shipping was fast. Easy return.

The Barefoot Boot For the Working Soldier
I’m a line medic attached to cavalry unit and I LOVE these boots. Whether we’re rucking or running or doing more slow-paced work, these boots let me get through it all feeling comfortable and fresh the whole time.Pros: Fit and durability are awesome. The boots fit like a glove and have been put through the grind after countless 10+ mile ruck marches. They’re tough enough for the heavy stuff, yet light enough to go running in. The tread still has a ton of life left, too. When I get home at the end of the day, I’m not rushing to get my boots off. They leave my feet feeling strong and fresh.Cons: You’re gonna want to replace the laces immediately. They’re kind of clumsy to tie. The boots also have a tough time with water. If you’re moving through a wet environment, you’re gonna get soaked. That being said, they dry pretty quickly. In all, these are an amazing choice for the soldier looking for a barefoot boot that still offers padding and support. Definitely recommend these.

Minimalist. Barefoot. Maybe Military?
If you’re into minimalist running or barefoot running, and want a pair of boots that more less tailor to that lifestyle. These are it. Especially for military personnel, since they are AR670-1 Compliant. If I could walk around barefoot I would, but sadly I do need a pair of boots for work and these are it. I recommend these 100%. They’re flexibility is insane for boots, as it doesn’t go against your foot and ankles natural movements. They’re not false advertising either when they say these are light weight. These are light weight as hell. I personally took the sole inserts out and I think it makes the shoes feel way better.ALSO : don’t be alarm when you first look at them. The color seems a little desert tan, but it’s like.. it doesn’t seem desert tan? It’s weird. You put water on them and they go into that Dark coyote brown color you’re actually looking for. But more or less they are military compliant for the military people.Edit : April 1 2022 , ordered a new pair . The new pair was the actual color I was looking for , with the firsts one I got being a sickly brown unless I put water on it, still 5/5 would recommend
