First time using. I could feel the difference

I really wanted to love this item. First, let me just say that I was replacing a similar but shorter filter that was a citrus scent (of lime) which I loved but I couldn’t find that same filter in stock to replace. So this was the closest I could find. My original was made in Korea. I have sensitive skin and scalp and it didn’t irritate my skin or scalp which was such a relief for me until I couldn’t find it again. BummerWhen I received the Voesh citrus filter I made sure to follow instructions. The first thing I noticed was the pungent wet sock smell that was nothing like the one I switched from. I told myself huh, well maybe it’s the probiotic or something. Went ahead and used it anyway but I couldn’t get over this off putting scent especially when it stunk up my bedroom as well. But I tried to let it go because once again I couldn’t find the original. 2nd shower and a day later, my skin was itchy and sore on my back. It felt like an allergy developing. Thankfully I have not yet used it on my hair, mostly because I would not want my hair to smell like wet sock. I also noticed that it caused my shower pipe at the top to leak, which did not happen with my previous one. This one was longer than that one, maybe why I don't know. I used this twice to give it a week of use. I just wasn't a fan.So yeah, sorry Voesh, I wanted to give a better review. I sincerely hope this isn’t the norm and that maybe I received a defective item. I would honestly prefer the nasty tap water to this you guys. So I must return in hopes to find my original that actually smelled like citrus and no skin reactions.

I tried these on a whim and can’t get over how amazing they smell and make my skin feel. As soon as the first one’s scent got a little light I ordered two more on a subscription. I live where we have super hard water and this has made my hair feel better and be less frizzy.

Product feels great. Makes my water feel softer. Smells great. Not yet sure on long term effects.

The product smells great for the first couple of weeks and seems to work well during that time as well. I’m about 6 weeks in and the smell is gone entirely and the water is soft-ish. I’ll order another one to see if the first one was defective and update. I have a handheld, idk if that makes a difference.

I cannot get over how amazing this is. From the minute I turn on the shower and the steam comes out the citrus smells in my entire bedroom. Just get it!! Love love!
