Kirkland Signature Mucus Relief Chest Expectorant (Guaifenesin 400 Mg), 2 bottles of 200-Count Immediate-Release Tablets

I've had terrible allergies my whole life. This helps a lot during the night, so in the morning I'm not gagging because of too much phlegm running down the back of my throat. Apologies for the description, but I don't know any other way to put it.I use one pill at night before bedtime. I do make a point to eat just a bit of something or use a smoothie or similar thick type of drink to swallow it as I prefer not to take it on an empty stomach. I've had no problem at all with it.I had a prescription of the same stuff for years before they took it off of the offered prescription list at my HMO's pharmacy.Because of what it is, I don't suggest trying to taste it. I've found almost every pill tastes terrible - just how it is. But taking it even with applesauce or a smoothie as I mentioned above (handy!) for example can hide any taste. I didn't put any stars for flavor because it's a medicine. Unless gummies, most meds don't taste good, but okay to quickly swallow. It's round and not quite flat - there's a picture of one on the bottle. It's the same size as the picture. I included a photo of the bottle. I'm used to taking meds/supplements, so I usually have no problem swallowing it.I think it's a good value for the money, especially since it lasts so long. And I really notice a difference if I forget to take it at night.

This is just what I need. It’s the expectorant….. Guaifenesis. I like it because that’s all I need to help with thickish sinus drainage that hangs out in that area that can’t be coughed or blown out. It thins it enough that it just takes care of itself for the most part. Years ago it was a prescription product by another name and it was expensive. As I figured out I could take the liquid cough medicine form much cheaper I did that. But now I use this product and it’s so easy, doesn’t taste bad and not too expensive. Good find!

Generic Mucinex. Works great, best generic quality I have found in health care besides Top Care.

The Kirkland brand of Guaifenesin is certainly affordable, but users should really read all of the reviews to make sure it fits their particular needs.THE PILLSThese Kirkland pills are fairly large. They are also blue so people with sensitivity to color-agents take note. The outside of the pills is smooth so I didn't have a problem swallowing them.No time release. If you are used to time-released Mucinex you should note that the Kirkland pills are NOT time-released so that you are going to have to take more pills spread out throughout the day. If you are home this is less of a problem. However if you are out and about most days, maintaining a consistent level of medicine will be more of a challenge.I FOUND that these pills work but aren't as convenient as the time-release Mucinex. However as cost is important to me, I'll continue to use this medication, perhaps relying on Mucinex as a back up for travel days or when constantly digging out pills and water might be inconvenient.

Works and helps get stuff out of chest.

This brand works just as well as its name brands. The cost is much less and I have found Kirkland brands to be excellent, at a lesser cost

I've suffered from Chronic Sinusitis most of my life.Used to be on prescription,"Guaifenisen".Once it became so available over the counter,my health insurance would no longer cover it.I've tried so many different brands of mucus relief& nothing compares to the Kirkland brand!I love that it's very affordable, unlike another name brand.Yes,you may need to take it every 4hours. When I did a comparison,Kirkland brand was still a lot more affordable! I love that you can get 2 bottles of 200, 400mg.tablets for such a cheap price!Other brands are normally 30 tablets,it felt like I was constantly running out.Especially since I need to take this daily as prescribed by my Dr.Biggest plus is that it really works! Without this I suffer from severe sinus pain&headaches.To me this seems to do the best&keeps me from suffering the constant sinus pain.(I have had sinus surgeries. Didn't help@all.)I swear by this product,that it will work&am constantly recommending it to others.Please follow the instructions I take this as prescribed by my Dr. The biggest plus for me is absolutely no side effects&my Dr.has said it's a safe medication.If you have any questions always check with your Dr.
