I had eye surgery 2 days ago and misplaced the clear eye shield provided by the hospital. I guess it's a blessing in disguise as these eye shields are a tiny bit smaller, therefore fit much better. And the elastic strap actually holds the shield in place, which is another bonus for those of us allergic to medical tape. I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend both the product and seller.

Good product, however the elastic lanyards are too short. Even let out all the way, it is too tight. I have average size head and it is too tight. Needs at least 4-6 inches longer length. User must tie each end to plastic cup.

We used these in place of the cold metal one the doctor gave us after surgery for my 7 year old daughter. It was definitely more comfortable and she was able to see with it on. They lasted through both recoveries and were so easy to use.

I bought these to sleep in after lens replacement surgery with the intent of sleeping with them to keep my eyes safe from accidental rubbing or laying on them. I tried to take a nap, but couldn't sleep because they were so tight with the elastic completely stretched open. My head size is not considered large and is probably actually on the smaller side. (I wear small/medium hats) These marks on my forehead are still here two hours after removing from my head. The actual plastic part fit ok and was relatively comfortable on my face. However, the elastic really needs to be longer.

This clear cover is excellent for use as eye protection following cataract removal/lens implant surgery. The cover does what it is intended to, after some adjustment to the elastic straps supplied to hold the clear cover in place. My head is somewhat larger than normal and this necessitated the splicing of two cords to make one longer one. The clear cover then was easily placed over each eye subsequently following surgery and served the purpose of protecting my eye(s) from being involuntarily touched/scratched during sleep time each night for a full week following surgery. The covers are vented with sufficient holes to allow for enough air to circulate through to keep condensation from gathering during wearing each night. I bought these after I had my right eye cataracts removed because I hated using the surgical tape on my face every night. It was so uncomfortable and was an experiment every night to see if the tape might be applied better at a different place on my face as well as on the clear cover itself. What a hassle that is. And, although the small round elastic cord left an indentation on my face each night, it was always gone a couple of hours after I removed it the next morning so, to me, it was by far the better arrangement with the least amount of preparation each night and hardly any trouble the next morning. I would definitely purchase these clear covers with the supplied elastic bands again rather than deal with the tape and it's less than optimal application process each night.

The rubber band is incredibly short. No way could it an adult. Threw them out. Had to purchase similar item at a brick and mortar shop since I had cataract surgery and no luxury of time doing an exchange.

Exactly as the images. Arrived right on time since my first eye surgery is this coming Friday. I just wanted to have additional ones in case the one they put after the surgery is not comfortable
