I got this moldable glue to try to fix the corner of a laminated table top. It worked great! I have since used it repair ceramics. As stated, you work with it fairly quickly and then let it set up. It dries super hard. I'm sure I will be thinking up all kinds of ways to put this product to work!

This package was bought mostly to fix porcelain. I had 4 projects in mind, fixing the chipped black rim of a cup, fixing the rim of a porcelain cup, adding a 'hook' to a vinyl window frame and another to a painted wall. I also will try to adding a hook to a concrete wall.I used the black color on the cup first. You get the amount of a small ball and I needed about ⅓ of what was in the pouch. With molding and pulling, I the rim was fixed, however was irregular and stood out too much. After setting I tried a day later to sand it, which worked, making it more even, however at the edges, the material flakes off and the fit is not as tight anymore as desired. I wonder how long it will last when the cup is in use and washed regularly.My second project was the chip on a white cup. This one worked better in terms of incorporating it, however still needed sanding. The Sugru color is pure white, so I decided to remove the first white repair and tried a new batch with adding a little gray from the other package to create a better matching color fit. However despite re-sealing the white package a day earlier, I had to realize that I was unable to mold the remaining material of the white package as it had already set. I repaired the white cup in sanding down the rim with a diamond file instead.Project 3 was where Sugru really shines, I created a hook as shown in the video and booklet, to add to a vinyl frame to hold a small plastic disk an ornament to deter birds from flying into the window. The adhesion with the plastic material works well and the decor is light, which does not put too much weight on the material. It works well, without drilling into the frame and the color is same as the frame.Project 4 was a similar hook to hold a cable (for holiday decor) in a corner of a painted wall. First, the location was good and the hook stayed well, however when I hung a light cable on it, the hook fell off. My guess is, that the paint was too rough and porous to adhere well. Which should be added to booklet. I guess as the rest of the white package is gone, likely the black and the gray which I opened to get a smidget for color mixing, is now gone as well. What a waste. I will use the rest of the Set to create hooks on concrete.In summary, Sugru feels like super glue, you can use it once, and then can basically throw out the whole package. For that the packaging with tin can and booklet is way overpackaged, more appropriate if it would stay fresh for years to use. For a one time use of the 4 colors, it then also is quite overpriced. I intended to recommend the use to our Repair Cafe and community, however did not get to demonstrate after my first attempts as the leftovers were unusable at that time. I'd buy Sugru in smaller single packages for single projects for lower price, if that was available, just like Superglue.

The Sugru works beautifully, and I have been happy, so far, with everything I have used it for. The only problem was in receiving some packets that were already past or at the end of their use-by dates.

We've used Sugru before and like the product generally; but disappointed with this purchase (a gift), as the packaging has a latest Use By date of June 2023...purchase was made 13th August! Hoping the sachets of Sugru have survived - at least for one use - as all past the printed Use By date

I have tried so many toothbrush holders and you know what the problem is? Every toothbrush is different. They have different widths, the bases are different, the head is different, it is pure madness. What inevitably happens is you get a holder and the current brush fits, then you decide to try a different brush and ugh, it doesn't fit, your bristles end of crushed or the new one is now relegated to a cup on your countertop of which you have precious little space. With Sugru, you can now make a holder that fits your current toothbrush exactly!PROS- Easy to manipulate and create with- Easy to remove- Comes with a booklet of creative usesCONS- Takes about 48hrs to fully set- Not reusable- Even with the booklet I could not come up with many items I would use this for- The colours did stain a little and I needed some elbow grease to remove it (but it did come off the tile and mirror)I made myself a toothbrush holder. I shaped a round ball, pushed my toothbrush into the ball while pressing it on my bathroom mirror. 48hrs later is was ready to use and held my toothbrush securely.I also made a holder for my razor in the shower, so now, after a month of a hot, humid and wet atmosphere, it is still holding up great.I can see this as useful for small light items, toothbrushes, razors, on keys to identify them.
