So I have a 75gal tank with two turtles. My one pump decided to die. I quickly ordered this thinking it was going to have some pressure at 1320gph but sadly it fell short. Its super quiet compared to the last two cheaper ones I bought. Im hoping this one lasts more then 6 months. Im ok with it not having as much pressure because of how quiet it is. I cant even hear a hum all I hear is water trickling im more then happy to get a good night's sleep without a noisy pump running in a 29gal sump filter tank. I might see if this company has a bigger one and keep the 1320gph as back up or even just double the pumps since its that quiet. It felt sturdy too

I love this pump it is quiet and pushes a lot of water, my only complaint it does not come with a adapter to hook pvc pipe up to it “witch is what most people use for a sump” even the “1 inch” barb fitting it comes with doesn’t work with 1 inch flex tubing, when I put the tubing on and turned it on it blew the hose off, I tried to use zip ties and plastic ratcheting clamps but still did not get it tight enough, I had to glue pvc pipe to one of the fittings to use it

Got in this pump and the shield around the intake was cracked. No problem…super glue fixed it. Setup my new sump on my 120 gal reef tank and transferred 100s of coral and livestock and the stupid pump was flickering on and off. There was a faulty connector. We had no other pump and we were already completely transferred from the old tank, so we cut the wires and spliced them together removing the connector adapter near the control box. Avoid this item and get something better.

So I turned it on and thought, why isn’t this thing working? Then I saw the ripples and was very surprised by the quietness. I have a 120 gallon tank with internal sump partition and I am satisfied that the low super quiet setting is enough for my aquarium’s needs.Basically I am delighted. I’ve only had it for a few hours but looking at the build quality I think it will be fine. Very pleased I spent the extra money to get this one.This is a few weeks later, and it’s is really so quiet, either I’m going deaf or this thing is just soooo quiet.

Excellent performance at a great price; very quiet. You may have to upsize depending upon the height from the overflow and sump volume. I have a 150 tall, so I had to move to the big 3100 GPH, and the variable speed really helps balance the volume in the sump and it can be raised and lowered, for example, when the skimmer height needs to be adjusted.
