It is yummy! flavour is gentle but enough that I could still feel it among strong thai curry spices. It is shaved (small pieces), not chopped into long strips or chunks as I thought it would be. Well packed, no leak. Bottle had a temper-evident seal, all intact. Good seller, excellent product made in India - highly recommended! don't go buying Thai or Chinese imported bamboo when India has excellent own produce :)

No oil or spices based.
It is made on vinegar only hence without oil & spices, so it had vinegar flavour/ plain , not good for taste but you wana to consume bamboo shoots only without pickle taste then go for it.
